I already try to keep pretty healthy and I didn't notice much of a change with X2.

But chemically speaking iodine should be very useful and the chemistry magazines (C&EN) I've read admit investigative chemists are horrified at how difficult it is to track the source of fluoride based chemicals found in the bloodstream that are forming through currently misunderstood mechanisms. Even introductory organic chem makes it pretty clear why iodine is good and fluoride is basically a chemical weapon.
