It's not the same length though. A normally episode length is more like 5 minutes.
I've had this show in my queue for a long time solely because it's DC animation and the art for vixen reminds me of Young Justice, is it any good?any cameos? i might give it a try if it was good enough to warrant a s2

In the first season it was excusable as a prequel to her live-action appearance but now it seems like a budget thing.

It was actually pretty solid, worth watching if you care about action cartoons. Biggest problem was lack of length.

It has a female protagonist, It's automatically garbage on principle.
I honestly don't remember much, if any, gender stuff from the first season. Maybe when some thugs tried to rob her they said something rude but it wasn't pushed like a lot of modern stuff.
