You’re showing a picture of 10 people that by themselves have more money than 99% of the worlds population as an argument for capitalism?

>There will be trillonaires 20-30 years from now

this

I'm showing that with capitalism you can start off small and climb the ladder.

What good is acquiring shiny things if you're dead inside?

>$250 Billion

shiny things made that one shitty year more enjoyable

You're dead inside because you don't have shiny things.

By showing us 10 rich people while the rest of the world languishes in poverty?

>
No you can't stupid american

you can get matte colors if you want

-ry about ethics

The 1% aren't happy because they spend as much time worrying about and managing money as the working poor, and they don't have real friends, just people who benefit from knowing them. I'd rather be comfortably upper middle class than have 1 billion in investments.

NO NO NO NO why is there a fucking sw*de in the top-10??? NOOOO this can't be happening, we're just as good and rich and relevant AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa

>(((Zuckerberg)))
>(((Ellison)))
>(((Page)))

haha, capitalism is the economic system that have gotten out of the poverty people the most

Stay mad, Hanz.

>everyone DESERVES equal wealth!

> the Wallenberg family businesses employed 40% of Sweden’s industrial workforce and represented 40% of the total worth of the Stockholm stock market

>implying poverty isn't a measure that legitimizes the existence of capitalism because it's only focus is about creating material wealth
People need food, shelter and eachother. The rest is a bonus and capitalism takes this bonus and rapes the idea and the whole world with it by having to produce more and more to keep the system going

I'm surprised none of Russian oligarchs is in the top 10

>either the 0.1% owns more than the 90%, or everyone has equal wealth and there is absolutely ZERO middle ground!

Actually capitalism was just the economic system that accompanied the industrial revolution (you know, the thing that allowed humans to raise their productivity by 40 in less than 2 centuries)
Maybe it was inevitable to have those two events historically linked together (it can be discussed at least) but it doesn't prove that it is efficient nowadays

>People need food, shelter and eachother
and capitalism is the best system that provides this the best
>The rest is a bonus and capitalism takes this bonus and rapes the idea and the whole world with it by having to produce more and more to keep the system going
Capitalism don't do this, nobody will force anybody to do so. Anyone can life without puruing this bonus, capitalism is the very different from consumerism

you can add Arnault to the list

>living better than kings did 300 years ago is poverty

>he isn't using the log scale
Useless graph

>There shouldn't be any extremes, everyone should do equally well and gain equal wealth. The 0,1% don't deserve to be better than everyone else!

they don't actually

>creating amazon?
>no no, anyone could have done that, he just got lucky!

>the (((Wallenberg))) family

Yes I know they're Christian but they have Jewish ancestry.

>1 in 10 amazon employees qualify for food stamps.
>Amazon delivery drivers often have to urinate in bottles while driving to meet quotas, in order to keep their jobs
>Corporate employees report working 80+ hours/week on a regular basis
Capitalism is very ethical and fair, lads.
The rich clearly create wealth without harming or exploiting anyone.
Even if they did, it's fine, because I got that new watermelon holder on prime overnight for only 38.99.

What do you do with 100b?

>hurr durr, natural resources are about to burn out
capitalism isn't about consuming the natural resources and then it's over. In a free market the spontneusly coordinated thinking n' action of the humanity have a better capacity to find solutions than a bunch of ppl elected for politicians to solve our problems. Capitalism have an endless resource that is human imagination that is the only necessary to keep working

amazon employees also get paid more starting with no work exp than you can get pretty much anywhere, they could get a minimum wage in some other fulfillment center for less pay if they wanted to. They also chose to never learn any skills or financial management abilities.

>I work hard so don't have to work

People dreaming of early retirement in their 40's are the weirdest bunch.

There are no pockets in a shroud.

nothing

>The CEO obviously works 12000 times harder than the maintenance man.
>He deserves proportional remuneration.

Who are you answering to?
I said literaly nothing about burning resources
And human imagination and intelligence was used before and will be used after the historical existence of this economical system.

Better they have the option to do that, than have requirements for the workplace make it so that there aren't any jobs at all for them. Also pissing in bottles isn't that bad as I'm sure many people here can confirm.

>Amazon pays alright
>1 in 10 amazon employees on food stamps
Just because America has a shit minimum wage, doesn't mean paying marginally higher makes it decent

hrdive.com/news/report-amazon-workers-collapsed-on-the-job-after-55-hour-workweeks-high-t/512052/

fucking sad

>as I'm sure many people here can confirm.
up on your high horse are we, kaj-torvald?

communism now

How much you should earn has nothing to do with how "hard" you work, you can work really hard moving a boulder across a street manually but you didn't do anyone any good and shouldn't be paid for it.

>yeah guys, 11 dollars an hour is so much better than 10 dollars an hour

His business isn't unique and with the emerging tech that fueled it (the internet), we would've ended up with the same service regardless of who started it.

If you were using an example of someone who created a completely new propulsionary method that required a mastery of astro physics and engineering, you might've had a point. But you dont.

they're probably on food stamps from wasting all their money on a new iphone and car loan, don't tell me you can't live on 14$/hour.

>The serfs get yo choose which lord they serve!
>My lord gives us meat 4 times a year!
>Feudalism works!

>Carlos Slim
>a fat fuck

His businesses was competing with the competitors, it's successful because it's the best at it. No other services comes close to how efficient it is and if you think something will just "fill" that you're delusional, just look at our shitty subsidized postal service.

Not a single jew in the top 4 yet jews are supposed to control the world.

Carlos Obese just doesnt have the same charm to it

Jews control the assets, they don't have absurd net worths like people who started successful businesses. You can't put a price on the federal reserve.

Are you fucking stupid? The whole "American dream" is based on

>Work hard and you'll succeed!

Whether its starting a business or pushing a merit based notion of success within a business. How fucking dumb are you?

Yea well you can't put a price on love

I see that Forbes excluded the Rothschild again...

the "american dream" has nothing to do with reality, it's a dream. smart work > hard work.

If you believe life should be a meritocracy, shouldn't everyone have to start from an even point?
Doesn't having rich parents and connections provide an unfair external advantage?
Why is it fair that some people should get to be born so rich they can live off the interest on their ancestral fortune, and some die of dysentry by the side of the road?

Maybe in your shithole flyover state you can rent a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment while saving 50 bucks a month for retirement, but $14/hr gets you practically fucking nowhere.

Do you know what purchasing power is? Our money is not worth what it was 30 fucking years ago. Your dumbfucking boss that "worked in the mail room for 6 dollars an hour" is not exemplary of the current conditions.

That's literally not how government programs work, dumbass. If it was like that someone making far beyond minimum wage could food stamps. To be eligible " For income, individuals and households may qualify for benefits if they earn a gross monthly income that is 130% (or less) of the federal poverty level for a specific household size"

>aMazon fulfillment centers are all in big cities and you need a 1000$/month mansion to survive!!!!!!!!!

The postal service is shitty because the GOP constantly slashes funding then says "LOOK HOW INEFFICIENT IT IS, WE MUST PRIVATIZE".

Fuck off Cleetus.

THATS WHAT OUR WHOLE FORM OF "CAPITALISM" IS BASED ON. MERIT BASED HARD WORK. HOW FUCKING DUMB ARE YOU?

I wonder how many world changing geniuses died in third world sweatshops trying to feed their families.

Russia is poor.

>Its the poor people's fault they're poor.
>They're inferior.
>they deserve it!
Why aren't you rich, user? Is your current station in life the result of how clever and hard working you are?

this thread is making me sad

>no argument

Classic American stupidity. Don't you have meth to smoke and your sister to fuck? Dipshit.

burgers explaining their actual beliefs in general make me sad.

>If you believe life should be a meritocracy, shouldn't everyone have to start from an even point?
this. meritocracy is a very good idea but implementing it is difficult. having a 100% tax on inheritance would be both unpopular and impractical, as people would just get around it somehow.

I think the answer is a strong public sector so your wealth wouldn't matter as much. there would be no elite schools or shit schools, instead they'd all be of similar level. this is really difficult to accomplish, but I think we should at least strive for it. growing inequality is the natural way of things, and we have to actively fight against it to keep our societies at least somewhat meritocratic.

Modern capitalism is making you sad.
At least it will probably collapse once automation destorys 90% of jobs.
I look forward to building a molotov launcher to take down Amazon brand pleb suppression drones when we reach breaking point.

Don't lump all of us together. The stupidest Americans are the most vocal. The election of Trump represents this.

I think it's hilarious and pretty amazing how good American capitalism is at keeping the poor poor and the rich rich.
>be poor
>be charged money for not having enough money in your bank account
>be poor
>spend money to cash cheque to get your money

>two parties
you were fucked from the start

I look forward to this. So many dipshits think automation is just going to take min. wage jobs only and they're the dipshits that get smug and say the poor deserve to be poor.

>b-b-b-but we cant afford to give our workers healthcare or raises.

"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires"- Maybe John Steinbeck

"“America is the wealthiest nation on Earth, but its people are mainly poor, and poor Americans are urged to hate themselves. To quote the American humorist Kin Hubbard, 'It ain’t no disgrace to be poor, but it might as well be.' It is in fact a crime for an American to be poor, even though America is a nation of poor. Every other nation has folk traditions of men who were poor but extremely wise and virtuous, and therefore more estimable than anyone with power and gold. No such tales are told by the American poor. They mock themselves and glorify their betters. The meanest eating or drinking establishment, owned by a man who is himself poor, is very likely to have a sign on its wall asking this cruel question: 'if you’re so smart, why ain’t you rich?' There will also be an American flag no larger than a child’s hand – glued to a lollipop stick and flying from the cash register"- Definitely Kurt Vonnegut

>you should be happy you have a job at all!!!
>not starving on the street is a priviledge not a right!!!

Automating an Excel spreadsheet is much cheaper than building a robot frycook.
The middle will go first.
It's already dying.

maybe you should become a ceo then, fagot :')

CEO makes sure the company remains profitable. It's unironically 12000 times harder to do then sweeping the floor.

>does this thing work?
nope? haha better not do it then
wow this sure is hard work

there’s already been trillionaires

>Don't lump all of us together.
Honey, where do you think we are.
I can however reassure you that I don't treat nationalities as monoliths when dealing with actual people IRL.

Be scared that you're going to lose it all

???

The interim CEO at Carillion, a major government contractor in the UK was recently awarded a £750,000 bonus, despite the fact that the company is literally collapsing, and defaulting on all its contracts.
Low level employees are losing their livelihoods.
The CEO may have to buy a slightly smaller yacht next year.

Ok think about this commie and equality fags, clearly if you are able to make this much money by yourself, you should be entitled to keep it. Prove me wrong

rural and suburban retards right. It was HER turn.

I always laugh how it's westerners that say this stupid socialism shit

we're going to need iron curtain 2.0 soon but this times roles will be reversed.
If you have any virgin natural blonde sisters i'll gladly take one as my wife so she won't rot in socialist shithole. + i'll send you packages with shit like clothes and toiler paper

OK. We have to ban private schools, all inheritance, and we must make hiring completely anonymised (Hirers must never see you, know your name, sex, religion, orientation, heritage, etc). Otherwise intergenerational inequality will crop up again.

CEO bonuses are determined through satisfying conditions on a agreed upon contract set up being the CEO and the board of directors at the appointment of CEO. The contract has to be honoured by law.

Capitalism and freedom über alles.

>i'll send you packages with shit like clothes and toiler paper
>polack

>I don't understand economics
It's okay you can always start reading.

>if he doesnt like trump he must be a soyboy PC cuck

No, I'm just not a fucking illiterate hillbilly who gets easily manipulated by populist demagogues.

But placing importance on her fucking genitals rather than the substance of her policy or length of experience you inbred faggot.

Sounds like a bad CEO considering he failed to do his job and keep the company afloat.

>Otherwise intergenerational inequality
In other words, competent parents should not be able to support their children.
