Is french cousin even a thing? Never heard of it.
Obviously as an american your perspective is really limited
I think italy
French
I have a French cousin, or as I like to say - J'ai have a French cousin.
this
From your pic: France (but Italy's close)
In the world: Probably North African Arabs or Japanese
Italy or France has the best food, there is no competition desu. Slavs probably have the worst food
But desu every cuosine has potential to be delicious. Even countries that aren't known for good food have delicious dishes that aren't just really known to the public. In example Germans, Slave or Scandis - it's true that most of our population eats pork with potatoes and rotten cabbage most of the time but Slavs has a rich tradition of soups and Russian solyanka is probably the best soup in existence when done right. German pork knuckle in beer or Swedish meatballs with lingoberry jam are top tier. In Poland we have a lot of almost forgotten (by general population at least) traditional recipes like deer in gingerbread sauce, boar with plums or duck blood soup, not to mention Polish barszcz (not to confuse with Russian or Ukrainian ones whoch are kinda meh to me). Lithuanian cold soups are superb. And Georgian cuisine is probably one of the most underrated cuisines in the world.
I'm a cook and food ethusiast btw.
>And Georgian cuisine is probably one of the most underrated cuisines in the world.
Georgian cuisine seems really tasty. I would say that Germanic and Slavic foods can be amazing, but they depend more on high quality ingredients ( especially for the meat and fish) and fresh produce.
>t. Frozen ikea meatballs
only non-balkan slavs have bad food ,south slavs have ok food
Some Italians brought salami they said was generic and avilable anywhere thete, it was one of the tastiest things I ever ate. I will go to Italy just to eat more and see what other secrets of deliciousness they're hiding
Is this bait? Seriously?
No
China
All Mediterranean cuisines were made by god or ayy
It's sad because this is literally what flyovers believe.
OT: Portuguese is kino
Southern french food is so comfy.
They're both VERY close.
But based on the meals I ate when I visited France and when I visited Italy....
Italy narrowly wins.

>t. surströmming
Braaaaap peas
France has more variety
We have the Alps and the Mediterranean sea plus the rest
Pizzas and pastas are overrated
>We have the Alps and the Mediterranean
how unique
I have a big hard on for meat and pasta, so Italy.
Both are good.
