This is a TER, they use them for regional transit.

>What if a train had autism?

Looks like memetrain desu.

>this is a TER, it is made of FAIL and ASS

Isn't this a train from Final Fantasy?

That looks like a high-speed train
Don't bully us

They look nice on the inside though

We made this one. It's a modular autonomous maglev urban train. But we don't have the monies to build it now ):

It's supposed to be pretty cheap too.

I wonder what the orbital circle at the front is for.

Our new regional trains

...

It's ugly and unpractical, but at least it don't cost 5 millions a waggon, like our new suburb trains.

Looks 2004
Looks 1984

Nice

so cool

i think we have something like 100 different types of train

...

Looks cool, but a little outdated maybe?

This is a local train though.

it sucks

What line is that for?

Scheduled to enter service next year.

Those are like half of all the trains here

Fuck

Train à Grande Vitesse

...

...

ital ital?

Do you prefer NTV or FS?

Pourquoi tu montres l'ancienne génération, elle est dégueulasse.

The AGV train is French tho

Our trains are slow as fuck and expensive.

the Pendolino tech you use in all your trains is italian tho

I'd say NTV

That's a sexy train. Can't wait for the anime girl version.

Why did you steal our logo?
Or did we steal yours?

Wtf I love our trains now

Old japanese suburban train used between the 70's and 90's
Are 103 series trains still in use?

What does VR mean?

Is this a train? It looks more like a tramcar.

Valtion Rautatiet (State Railways)

...

NC could be a decent train state - our cities geographically are lined up pretty decently and the cities are just far enough from each other to where trains would be useful but planes are overkill.

We have a line but don't her anything really talking about it.

>looks comfy
Our new subway. I think they’re gonna be delivered later this year.

...

I will always prefer our older wagons, though.

The MTA can get fucked so I'm not posting any if their rolling shitholes.

Riding to work is like visiting a railroad museum every day! It's still pretty good by American standards, though.

...

If I pull that off, will you die?

it looks poor. usa is greedy

This is the result of the ultra-neoliberalism that I regularly see your countrymen wanking over.

Train technology can survive decades of use. I remember seeing a document about a tram operating in South America originally built for the 30's Olympics in Germany.

USA has different priorities. Their trains don't need to look fancy and new, they prefer them to be sturdy and make money for many decades even if it means using slightly outdated technology that's very fuel thirsty. It's the same with their vehicles, they don't care whether a pickup truck drinks more fuel as long as it reliably starts every day for decades. Blessing of cheap energy.

In daily service from 1930 to 1990.

>le loud and dirty old trains
not for me

always liked the look of these trains

Just monies. less development.

it's been a while since i visited that fine city.
let me guess, that's han cock tower in the back, so that's the north side and train is heading to nothern suburbs?

Commuter trains

That's an interesting design

>there's a ghost story about a silver metro train wagon that's rarely used late evening in Stockholm metro
>it's always empty and people that embark it are never heard from again

You are correct regarding the John Hand-cock Center, but I'm not sure which line that is.

Damn, Italy all your trains look like sports cars
You guys are O B S E S S E D

Metro

Tramway in the suburbs

Tramway in Stockholm city

Inter city train

"""""high""""" speed train number one

That's because Luca Cordero di Montezemolo (Ferrari's chairman) is also the chairman of NTV (the company that makes that train)
The inside is pretty nice as well. It has a cinema carriage, free wifi and leather seats

I remember when I was quite young they sent this over to the U.S. for testing.

"""""high""""" speed train number two

older regional train

Silverpilen?
You’re literally a massive fag if you dont like the aroma and vintage feel of these wagons. The shaking is also really comfy and the sound it makes when it is stationary.

pretty comfy inside

You’re gonna show our international friends, saltjöbanan, Roslagsbanan and nockebybanan, right?

kys homo.
that train is loud as fuck. can't speak with people next to me. shakes like a madman
and they always stop them like madmen

ours

Another tramway that takes upper middle class home

A third train that takes the upper middle class home

You’re gonna miss them when they’re gone, dude.

A fourth train that takes the upper middle class home

vintage gimmick

I remember a time when each line had the trains in their respective colors.
Red train for red line
Green train for the green line
and Blue train for the blue line

but nowadays they're all blue.

Easier to change wagons without it looking weird. I remember some trains being multicoloured.

danish IC3 intercity train and copenhagen s-train

The ethnic minorities transportation device of choice

Inside

RER?

RER = pendeltåg

Aye
modernised inside

In service

Bay Area Rapid Transit serving San Francisco and some nearby cities/suburbs

built to a nonstandard gauge because they were retards back then

good system for american standards though

Caltrain Baby Bullet

commuter rail service up and down the San Francisco peninsula

at least the cars are all double deckers

wouldn't that be welcomed with all the tolerance stuff etc in sweden?

they're loud
shitty
uncomfortable
stinky
over crowded
breakdown a lot
tickets cost far too much for what you're getting
awful

save us

...

>the year of our lord MMXVIII
>diesel urban passenger rail is still widely endowed and accepted across the world
Where did we go wrong?
