For example, in relationships I've always been the dominant partner, always led, made decisions, did the heavy lifting, treated her like filth in bed (or as the newest one says "you're really firm but I know you'd not hurt me, and that makes it hot"), all of that business. And 9/10 it's been with women who saw themselves as strong, independent and often feminist. Every time I've been treated to lists of why I'm better than their ex's (essentially boils down to "you act like more of a man"), and every time it's come to an end they always end up trying to get back together with me. My favourite was one who commented "you make the feminist inside me hate myself". All I see myself doing is playing my part in a relationship and acting like I would anyway. Is this similar to the deprogramming aspect that you're talking about, or is there more to it?
