If someone says their ethnicity is "Canadian" what would that mean?

3) English
4) Irish

Alot of the colonials have since mixed, although there are certain facets of Canada that are predominately one ethnicity over the others. For instance Quebec is considered a French stronghold, and Nova Scotia is primarily Scottish.
