I consider the 100th episode of Law and Order with Williams one of his best roles.
For those who don't know, he played there a guy whose wife got murdered years ago in a robbery by a young black thug. Thug was sentenced to death and the agents approach Williams with a request to talk with the thug as a means to a closure as his last wish. Williams refused and he played a part of a man who cannot find in himself to forgive.
The way he portrayed a man filled with anger and hate was just too relatable and too good for a mere TV series.
