If you've actually delved into genetic mods, you'll learn to find out that gene modification doesn't just change one specific thing, other parts of the gene like hair color end up having slight changes in say a gene that could contribute to higher IQ.
Going from there, it isn't that much of a stretch to hypothesis that a High IQ, physically fit, and mentally stable human, engineered from Genetic modifications would in fact turn out to be a White person.
