Are there any movies or shows about real outcast types. or hikimori NEETs/geeks?
Not this self proclaimed outcast nerd shit where characters still have a healthy social life and circle of friends

Welcome to the NHK. And The Machinist.
Blade
One Hour Photo
Observe and Report
>2 hour footage of a teenage boy staring at a computer screen while chugging sugar water and taking masturbation breaks
The world isn't ready for Sup Forums: the movie.
Imagine a movie with literally no dialogue where such a character is just followed. There wouldn't be any dialogue because he doesn't interact with anyone, he just observes the world around him. The only dialogue would be him ordering a coffee or something. The sounds of masturbating and urinating bottles and shitting in buckets would also be purposefully exacerbated.
like a neet Baraka
would watch
but wouldnt he talk to himself all the time? i sure do it.
this would get praised as an art film
Yeah, and that. See, collaboration does provide fruitful results.
I've been working on a tv show based on this idea for years, don't steal it from me
It's all yours brah
I wouldn't say I talk to myself. but I have scenarios and imagined interactions with people I know and find myself responding out loud or muttering to myself my side to these imagined scenarios.
sometimes I accidentally do it in the car and hope people who see me think I'm just talking to someone on the phone via bluetootb
Fatso
It's about a fat NEET virgin who is forced to become roommates with a QT girl. She brings over Chad to cuck him, host parties and is in general a disturbance to his NEET life.
The Man Who Sleeps, quintessential loner kino
>neet goes insane and kills everyone at a party
>to pathetic to be tragic
>sometimes I accidentally do it in the car and hope people who see me think I'm just talking to someone on the phone via bluetootb
wow that is some relatable shit.
>Approaching red lights and see a couple of cars waiting at the stop line
>Purposely stop a little further from the line so I won't have to worry about them peaking at me
fúsi (virgin mountain)
this is probably what you want
castaway on the moon
maybe a bit related
some other stuff that comes to mind
marebito
I could actually see this win the Palme d'Or at Cannes
Get Paul Dano to play the lead and you're golden
>stop at a red light
>pickup is stopped a little ways in front of me in the lane next to me
>qt is riding in the truck bed, looking right at me.
>hair is blowing in the window, sun is setting
>literally looks like some shit out of a kino indie film
>literally start sweating and pretending to change the song on my phone so I don't have to look at her
this happened yesterday RIP
sorry *blowing in the wind
I kinda caught on, don't worry about it.
Sunglasses help.
Is it wrong to do this? I often find myself pacing and muttering/laughing to myself for long periods at a time whenever im alone.
It's not wrong as long as you question whether it's wrong
right, Fusi, that was a wonderful film
I like making eye contact, but its hard when its a qt. I still try not to break it, today I saw a guy at a gas station, he was old, wearing funny clothes and had long funny hippy hair. I looked at him, and he just looked at me, I started to smile because I thought it was funny, and he looked like a silly boomer. He smiled back at me.
I consider it practicing for real conversation in the future so it's good
Let me add so I don't sound like an autistic retard. Making eye contact is a way to make an unspoken connection, sometimes I stare which is bad, but its a nice way to "speak" to someone before actually articulating anything with words. thats probably autistic
For a particular kind of temperament Tomoko's misadventures are almost unbearably difficult to watch. I still like her better than her normie friend.
It would be 2 hours of this

liverpool is like this
This
Hurts too much
>what are daydreams
>what are internal monologues
>what is Castaway on the Moon
You're living vicariously through daydreams, otherwise you'd go mad from lack of stimulus.
Gakkou no kaidan
Teddy bear is a good movie
recommend similar movies please
I can't stop laughing
>Travis
>healthy social life
uuh
Who are you?
It's a thai horror movie. Pretty decent. A MOMYFU has a son who never comes out of his room anymore. After a few weird incidents she fears that he's dead and that someone else is living in his room.
Based Danes make the best loner kino
>Get Paul Dano to play the lead and you're golden
lmao nailed it
This. Every single line he delivers is internal monologue.
Could make it with a good soundtrack too, as he goes through life like a robot. I think that could work to some extent, would be better for a music video though, like speed footage of broing life. Fatst forward through the boring stuff, slow mow when he makes awkward eye contact with a beautiful girl. Then fast foward to death lonely, something don't know, love. whatever happens to lonely people. when they grow old.
