What do you mean? Plenty of subcultures exist within both those countries, for instance in the music scene, take a look at German EDM and French hip-hop. Otherwise there's tons of different hobbies and pastimes that have offshoots or unique branches in those areas, in topics like cuisine, athletics, literature, politics etc.
