Like, a good character, something that requires actual acting. As far as i can tell she's only played emotionally dead people that never talk since she became an adult. Not like her roles from when she was younger were any more demanding.
In Neon Demon she was literally just a puppet. In 20th Century Women she was kind of emotionally unavailable.
