Used to love Attitude era and early 2000s, stopped watching around 2006. I actuallly started just watching again. Why do all the wrestlers have porn star type names now? Also it's amazing how much woman's wrestling has progressed, all they had in 1999 were bra and panties matches.

I'm literally watching WWE right now.
I mean I hate how shit it's got in comparison to 1997 - 2002 Attitude Era... but I picked it up again end of 2014 and I still find myself watching it constantly even though it's actually pretty crap.
I think as soon as Y2J Chris Jericho retires I might stop watching altogether... but some of the women in WWE right now are so insanely hot it's just insane.

Why is the entire current roster just out of shape rednecks? Where's all the zany gimmicks? It's like they're trying to legitimize the sport, but at the same time it's just so many damn unsightly rednecks! Where's Vince?

I got back into it just around Wrestlemania 32. I watched it growing up during the first brand split, as opposed to most people here who I'd guess watched attitude era and before. I mostly watch PPV's and Takeovers now. The writing and aesthetics have changed a lot- the writing is absolute horseshit sometimes, and Vince literally CANNOT STOP shoving people fans don't like down our throats, but the actual wrestling is much better. I wish they'd fuck off with 205 live and bring some good cruiserweights to the main brands. I just know future stars like Gargano are gonna be shunted over there, and they're even pushing away current ones. Can't wait for Summerslam though, also interesting to see how big banter's briefcase will be cashed in.

WWE is not what true wrestling fans look to when they want to see good bouts. But it's readily available and has high production value

I think it's just monday filler for the aficionado who knows the sport. WWE/WWF fans tend to not know anything outside of wwe/wwf, they hear the hype of some wrestler who's going to debut and immediately jump on the bandwagon when Vince brings them in. Whether these mongoloids love them or hate them is all up to the company, they can't even decide who to jeer without being told

Gargano is a cool dude in my opinion... it just confuses me that you have Finn Balor who is obviously a lot smaller than the main roster but because he sells a lot of merch, he's on the main thing and seems incredibly overpowered every single match.

Dude was midcard comic relief in WCW. The same gimmick that you're putting on a pedestal was literally in the same league as Disco Inferno. Jericho had more depth during this time btw and he was still a bum
