This was the last episode of the Simpons. It clearly acknowledged and described everything that was becoming wrong with the show and ended with a note of finality that left it clear in no uncertain terms that the show was over.

>"Sunday, Cruddy Sunday" is the twelfth episode of The Simpsons' tenth season. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on January 31, 1999, just after Super Bowl XXXIII and the premiere of Family Guy.
Holy shit you're fucking right OP.
The very next thing FOX aired after this episode was the first episode of family guy.
Could you imagine if they made this joke now

YVAN EHT NIOJ
I'm pretty much the biggest Simpsons buff on the planet.
It's rare that I'll pop into these threads, but like a mother goose suckling her young, here I am.
You may ask me one question each.
Honestly, have you ever gotten pussy?
Best episode in season 10?
what's the worst episode from the best season?
THAT DOESN'T MAKE A LICK A SENSE
thanks
None, its the beginning of zombie simpsons. Disgusting filth.
Yes.
Two Dozen and One Greyhounds - an insipid Disney parody, toothless and moribund from the start.
What is the joke when Homer throws Marge in the air and she comes through the door and says "wow a 50's nostalgia cafe"
I don't get it, and never have AND IT MAKES ME ANGRY
WHAT
IS
THE
JOKE
>Two Dozen and One Greyhounds

hm, i'd have thought the clip show or itchy and scratchy land would be the least popular of season 6. good ass season though
retard
zombie starts after season 12
Are there that many people who still care about the Simpsons, that people who just comment and talk about the simpsons make a living doing fucking simpsons podcasts? Fucking weird.
Do you prefer cut or uncut dicks to suckle upon?
not that user but we have so many topics ranting about how awful Zombie Simpsons is, how good the golden age was and Sneedposting that it's honestly refreshing to see people at least attempting to bring new material into the fairly stagnant Simpsons topics
With that said, I've always thought that the golden age ends with 7 and that the show becomes irreperiable after 10. Usually the problem with the episodes in the 8-10 range is that they have fun bits rather than satisfying wholes. I imagine doing a super-cut of the good bits in seasons 8-10 would yield an hilarious, albeit Family guy-esque season of disconnected gags strung together.
hi av club
30 minutes over tokyo was the last episode. The 11th season is abysmal in comparation with the 10th
The series continued to made me laugh until Season 18 honestly.after that, the laugh are scarce and they were REALLY starting to get out of ideas
>implying Mel Gibson episode isn't best Simpsons episode
What I find annoyingly impossible to ignore throughout the 8-10 seasons is the increasing trend for out of character jokes that are offloaded onto Homer simply because someone thought it was funny out of context and they didn't want to bother giving it to a more appropriate character (or leaving it out entirely)
>You're not going to ask me to pose nude, are you?
>Well yes, unless you have some issues with revealing your body?
>Well, I don't, but the block association seems to. They wanted a "TRADITIONAL" Santa Claus.
ok sure haha funny joke i get it a nude santa, hilarious, but why Homer? Hell it conflicts with his character in the SAME EPISODE
>last exit to springfield
>hank scorpio
>monorail
discuss
hank scorpio is not that good, sorry fellas
>still watching the simpsons
when will the third worlder retards leave?
either way though
Lmao, it's even aimed at legal immigrants. They could aim it the illegals and liberals would still make a fuss.
Yeah, it's not great.
I don't know the big deal with it, Last Exit to Springfield is simply miles ahead
The Tony Hawk one was when I knew it was over for me.
Season 10 is alright. You can clearly see the new "zombie Simpsons" and "Homer and Friends Wacky Half Hour" direction they're taking, but the thing that saves it is that the jokes are still quite good. It's got a 3:1 good/bad episode ratio, Imo.
Season 11 is the big plunge in my opinion. It's got the same problems as s10 but here the jokes started sucking, they rely more on Family guy shock/gross out humor than previous seasons. The Maude dying episode made me give up in the show, because of how stupid and poorly handled it was.
It didn't make a lick of sense
I was disappointed AV club didn't do season 10 in their classic Skmpsons reviews. Yes it is worse than what came before, but it had the last appearance of Phil Hartman. They should've done it for Phil.
