Hillary was going to be a weak candidate no matter who she was up against. Trump's claim that Obama founded ISIS was basically just him being retarded. And then two days later he admits that he was only pretending to be retarded.
This whole thing was a massive failure of Trump's communications skills. He was either serious about it (and thus clinically retarded), or else he was completely unable to communicate that he was kidding. Huge numbers of people assumed that he was serious -- so then he waits two whole days before telling them he was kidding.
