Yeah he was an addict but so we're a lot of musicians at the time. Their vices don't detract from their contributions to jazz and music as we still use a lot of it.

I'd say there's a lot of good jazz.
I'm still racist and believe that blacks are born lesser than whites, just as whites are born lesser than asians and asians are born lesser than australians.
Just because something is lesser than you doesn't mean you have to hate it so much that you hate everything it creates and does. There are a lot of bad black people, but there are a lot of good black people too and it's unfair to the good, no matter how few, to judge them by the actions of their entire race and condemning all things they do make as lesser simply because they produced it.
