If you believe he ever will be let out, you are delusional. In Norway we have maximum 21years of prison, but ANYONE that is deemed as a threat to society can be hold indefinitely under a ruling called "sikring".
At any point in time, a lot of people in Norway is practically in prison until they are so old that they can't do any harm any more (ie. they are so old they shit their pants and have alzheimers).
