More than Italy or Spain?

I mean, Spain gets a lot of flak, but we have a nominal GDP as big as Russia, an eternal natural resource (the sun), big naval, textile, motor/pieces, agricultural and pharmaceutical industries. With all humbleness and honesty and all my respects to your country, I don't see Poland surpassing us in the near future and even less Italy, with their over 60 million inhabitants. Maybe in 30 or 40 years depending on the demographic situation due to mass immigration.

Poland may be big but they're still depopulated from a century of bullshit. Less than half the population of Germany at the moment and now they have to deal with one of the worst fertility rates in the world in addition to brain drain and emigration. They'll never be close to top dog in the EU but I think they'll eventually come to a position of economic power in the former eastern bloc where they call the shots there.
