my gf just left I wanna get drunk

Cento

lel

if this is a joke I don't get it nyway

meant for

very cute desu
name?

dunno

>vodka
Jesus, at least get gin, but if you absolutely must vodka vynoteka.lt/bajoru-premium-gold-1-l is OK. Or Stumbras Šimtmečio vynoteka.lt/paieska?term=stumbras.

If you just want to mix drinks then whatever... Just avoid flavoured kinds. They're shit.

What's the actual difference between expensive vodka and cheap vodka? Both taste awful and you drink it to get drunk.
t. don't like getting drunk

>gin
I think gin's kinda boring unless lithuania has its own special gin?
I've had stumbras, pleasantly surprised with it tbhf

>avoid flavoured drinks
well ofcourse

Level of filtration.
Expensive vodkas have a near neutral taste, while cheap vodkas taste like cleaning agent.

Cheap vodka tasts and smells like gasoline, expensive vodka doesn't.

I don't think we even have "our own" gin.

If you want something "lithuanian tasting" you could try "Žalios Devynerios" or "Trejos Devynerios", but they're not for everyone. A bit like Jagermeister. Or maybe some mead.

Why does mixing drinks have the effect it has?

>A bit like Jagermeister.
eh pass

>some mead.
How sweet are we talking here?

Eh.. not very? It's difficult to convey something that's relative. It doesn't feel like a dessert drink, if that makes sense. That's not to say that there aren't sweet kinds of mead (will probably be noted "saldus" or "saldusis" somewhere on the bottle), just that most aren't.

I guess you could get something like pic rel, 40ml tester, if you were curious to try.

I found the psycho-user's avatar I had saved. it was on my laptop.

Glad to see an actual conversation going on in /balt/.

I might yeah, you can just get this in shops?

Yeah, every bigger Maxima/Iki/Norfa will probably have it.

Also, I remembered this is a pretty decent vodka vynomeka.lt/index.php?sid=5264392d2aacc6aa621e8068e49bb44a&cl=details&anid=d097733c82010f7ee53f00292cd3d4cd&listtype=search&searchparam=obeli

Aren't there any Latvians on int? And what about Estonians, are they still in their own thread?

If you just want to get drunk quality doesn't really matters 2bh

nice
vodka is fucking cheap here tho jesus

Baltic people are poo

Everyone's currently complaining about how expensive booze is getting, because our government is cracking down on schnaps.
You're the Belgian, right? What do you think of our beer?

More like
>Lawrence of Arabia
am i right?
Because Britain is muslim now chacha...

If you're getting drunk might as well do it pleasantly.

Domestic one is pretty cheap yeah. Dem imports tho. I remember when Wild Turkey used to be like 13-15 euros. Now it's like 25.

Britain is Jewish, mate

I've only had kauno alus, and while nothing special, can't complain
Yeah I've noticed lol, supermarket cashier refused to sell me beer in the middle of the day yesterday because it was after 15h

The whiskeys seem comparable or sometimes even cheaper than in belgium tho
our alcohol taxes are out of control

>haha, wuss

>tax, hiring reforms
>eh

>booze taxes
>OOOOOOOOO

>meanwhile in Lithuania
If they keep at it vodka will be cheaper than beer or wine.

Tax reform didn't pass, or did I miss something?

>labour code
From one meme to another. Luckily I'm in a union and give zero fucks about it.

I don't follow Lithuanian politics as closely as I should (requires some knowledge, rather than just opinions), so i just used these two as general examples for political issues.

comparable to us, beer stays dirt cheap, evrything else skyrockets

I wouldn't exactly call 1-1.5 euros for a bottle of beer cheap, when our salaries are taken into consideration.

I mean in belgium beer stays cheap while wodka/wine etc keep going up
Yeah a lad told me your min wage is like 300/month
sounds harsh my man

380 now, IIRC.

It's either 380 or 400 now, not that it makes a lot of difference lol

wew
are most menial jobs at min wage or is it only really rural that u get only 400?

McD pays 500+a bit in Vilnius. In smaller towns, you probably get less. Shit's tough.

>are most menial jobs at min wage
Quite possibly yes, wouldn't know for sure. There's supposed to be a rather large amount of people getting their pay under the table. Tax evasion is kind of a thing.

Wait, is that netto or brutto? Because 500 seems kinda low for Vilnius.

yeah sure sounds like it
compared to belgium I feel like a king here tho, if that doesn't sound to mean

nyway what's the best bet for a quick bite to eat? DOn't feel like cooking 2nite

I worked 4days a week and got about four fiddy, for someone who had never had a job before and comes from a smaller town, it didn't seem too bad.

>if that doesn't sound to mean
nah

>tfw Latvia

le cheapland

Hello Latwia

Why didn't you tell me about youtube.com/watch?v=1d-sLv3WxhU
I got embarrassed by my ignorance in front of some Russian in another thread.

is hesburger any good

It's burger chain. It's literally what you'd expect.

nvm then
i'll get some pizza, seems safer

>Implying I know simply by being Latvia

It's budget MkDonald's.

Also, it's Finnish, so that's pretty nice.

is it better than mcdo tho

>tfw want to do benzos again
well fuck

Eh. Both are kinda shit, just get a kebab. "Sinano kebabai" are pretty good.

Unsurprisingly kebabs make the best kebabs.

>kebab
>baltic

pls stop

I'll go have a look at the kebabshop nearby
I don't eat meat tho so I'm not getting my hopes up

>balts
>food

>potato trips

Sinanas has vegetarian kebabs. At least the main location near the city center does (I assume you're in Vilnius)

He didn't ask for a Baltic food.

youtube.com/watch?v=FLxS2rE44Zo

I'm in kaunas lol

Oh!

I'm not too familiar with Kaunas.

The implication was that eating kabobs is affecting your ability to claim /balt/ status.

better get going before the shops stop selling booze

Going to drink alone?

probably
or with my dinner at least

atta boy!

Those little 100g vodka yogurt cups are ok if you dont live near latvia's border

>Jogurtukai
:DDDD

Fuck off i'm saving money!!!

I wonder if Belgium has those.
We should ask the Lelgian when he returns.

He'll be pretty confused

when I first saw these things I burst out laughing

It goes well with pic rel.

...

this might get some noggin joggin' if you know what i mean

>noggin
What the fuck did you just say you racist?

fuck me everything was closed nearby
hesburger chick even shouted at me in lithuanian

I thought burger joints are open at least 'till midnight.

And why would she yell at you? :DD

Bravo Estonia

youtube.com/watch?v=3HbjF-XVOmM

>shouted at me
That's odd, what did you do to her? ;DDD

:DDD ;)
