It's a damn shame James Gunn never got to make a third Scooby Too movie.
It would have to be released in 2006 (first one in 02, second one in 04, etc.) and it would be a perfect sign off to the crazy post-post modern era of film and society and everything in general that was the early-mid 2000s (2007 was the first truly shit year due to iPhones and social media, with every consecutive year being as shitty if not shittier).
Samuel Hill
I remember liking the first one but thinking the second one was boring.

>2007
I wish there was a forum or board general just to talk about that year. So many people I know can point to it and say "Yup, that's where it all went to shit'
Evan Young

I watched them for three first time earlier this year when my kid was going through a Scooby-Doo phase. The two movies are underrated and pretty fun and funny. Characters are pretty on point.
Now the Mystery Incorporated cartoon is pure kino and puts other Scooby-Doo series to shame.
Chase James
because thats when millennials turned into teenagers
Jayden Johnson
I remember being bored by the second film, but I liked the first one.
Hunter Moore

Your thesis intrigues me, please expound upon it.
Adrian Hernandez
Wrong, that was 1995

Get the fuck out. Get your shit. And get out.

I've heard dozens of different explanations.
great recession, release of the iphone, launch of pornhub, launch of tumblr, boomers begin retirement, etc.
Chase Johnson
>So many people I know can point to it and say "Yup, that's where it all went to shit' IRL or just on Sup Forums?
Nathaniel Howard
Different guy. I don't know own why, but 2007 seems right to me too. Weird

Could you stop with the fucking 2007posting Jesus Christ Almighty
It's like a big red banner that reads "I WASN'T AWARE OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING ON 9/11"
Hudson Allen
2008 was the last good year for anything. iPhones weren't wide spread until like 2009.
Robert Thompson
2007 was the last great year for movies and video games
Cameron Wright
Despite 911, people still interacted face-to-face, the economy was still good, and there was still a sense of hope and optimism from 2001-2006. 2007 changed that all.
Kayden Baker
Oh come off it. You are acting like AOL instant messenger wasn't HUGE back then (probably because you didn't even use it, youngfag). "Still a sense of hope and optimism" after 9/11? You are fucking dumb. 9/11 literally changed everything. The economy was good? The economy is better now than it ever has been. People were still bitching about no jobs and shrinking manufacturing base and outsourcing work to India since the late 90s. You are literally too young to understand.
Owen Scott
>The economy is better now than it ever has been ???
Jaxson Collins
Speculative investing creates a stock market boom.
Literally the same thing happened before the great depression.
Jaxon Sanchez
I unironically liked the first one, though I do think they butchered the original vision.
The second was rather soulless and you can tell they're all there because of contracts.
Ayden Robinson
I liked how they turned a charming kids cartoon in a twisted crude comedy
Ryder Morgan
>2007 was the first truly shit year due to iPhones
yeah fuck better technology
Xavier Smith
What the fuck. Is there a sequel? I never heard ANYTHING about that.
Lucas Barnes
This is the same sentiment that Sup Forums has about vidya
Brody Mitchell
what the fuck do you expect to happen when you give something to the director of tromeo and juliet
Oliver Perez
