Furlings were a meme and Nox were forest fairies who basically practiced magic because S1 of SG1 was fucking awful. I remember two different attenpts at power generation but no zpm specific one... and definitely not one using asgard replication tech

Meredith was a spastic and provably less intelligent than both Carter and his own sister. With Atlantis on earth and the full Asgard database, they should have easily been able to create ZPMs.

Not to mention that the Asgard tech let them create shit from thin air, and that it was designed to take basic specs and fill in the gaps itself. If it could create Replicators, and the Pegasus Replicatos could make infinite ZPMs, then there's no reason that SGC shouldn't be able to fabricate them themselves.

Those IMDB ratings are remarkably consistent, but only really show that Stargate fans continued liking Stargate.

They don't show what happened with the ratings. Ratings mattered extra hard because SyFy didn't own Stargate (if you can air something you own completely, that costs less to make and makes more money for you than something you've licensed from someone else that costs a lot to make, you do it) and it died before streaming became a real thing.

Also: one episode in season 2 rated as highly as the lowest rated episode in this season 1 chart

I've never once watched a stargate tv show, is there anything I should know before watching every season in chronological order?

all the good SG1 character actors died, why not just run a reboot with muh female Jackson,or female colonel.

It's more self aware than star trk, and has about 1/4 the budget.

Like Star Trek, the first season has a couple of good episodes, but it's mostly ass while they figure out what they want to do with the show and worldbuild.
