How is it that capitalism has created and maintained the greatest country in the history of human civilization... yet today we have people running on the platform that socialism is a justifiable?
Literally every aspect of any other country that has tried it pales in comparison to our growth and prosperity. How can you want to change the best part of our economy to something that LITERALLY FAILS EVERYWHERE ELSE.

Leftists are a weaker form of human, only coming into form when the world is nice and comfortable for them (made by the right). They cannot produce and are weak, so they require the government to feed and care for them, this translates into more leftists.
bc Americans vote largely both ways (conservative and liberal) but immigrants almost exclusively vote Democrat for the welfare. That's been the point of importing third world trash for the last 50 years. Democrats don't care about people, as long as they vote Democrat.
I understand having welfare.. but using it as a political means to and end is beyond ridiculous and should never be a major running platform.

economic growth and isn't indefinite, resources are finite, populations are increasing and jobs and wages are stagnating
no one is saying that capitalism didn't get it to where it is today, they're just saying that elements of socialism might make society better into the future (in their view)

In essence, socialism would put and end to capitalism.
Without any legal loopholes to amass wealth, people would have to resort to literal theft, instead of legally-acceptable theft.
However, socialism would also mean if someone is poor, everyone must be poor.
There is no existing applicable case of socialism outside marriage. Marriage entitles the couple half of the wealth (but for whatever reason children are still left out of said wealth).
