Can you redpill me on Napoleon?

What was his goal?
Why did he want to spread democracy?
Did he just want more Lebensraum for the frogs?
Were merchants involved?

Napoleon was just like Hitler, and let me explain what I mean:

Hitler was brought in to meetings with Rothschild representatives like Max Warburg and others and then King Of England, George VI, and many other European heads of State.

In these secret meetings, Hitler was given promises of support for his bid to become the next Holy Roman Empire, he was to unite Continental Europe under one ruler, himself if possible, or a successor he would name.

But the Rothschilds went back on their promises halfway through the war. Hitler had been double-crossed. He had no intentions of fighting a two-front war, that was the position the bankers forced him to.

So it's funny how they talk about Hitler and Napoleon making the same "blunder" in invading Russia.

Anyway, Napoleon was made these same promises by representatives of the same family. He was used to create a certain amount of chaos and destabilize Europe enough for the Rothschilds to acquire key properties and assets, (Like Great Britain.) and then cut off from his support when he got too powerful so he could be destroyed by other squabbling European lords.

The difference in Napoleon is that he was a MUCH more brilliant commander and continued to dominate Europe for many years after the Rothschilds attempted to cut him off from support.

But eventually, they all bend the knee.

So they banks wanted a united Europe and used first Napoleon and then Hitler for it?

Why did Napoleon want to conquer Europe though?

Also, why did they stab Hitler in the back?

: /

Napoleon never wanted a 'lebensraum' for France - if anything, he just wanted the rest of the world to leave the French the fuck alone. But, people (monarchs) saw that if they allowed a country like France to succeed and prosper, especially after the revolution, they would eventually have to deal with the same in their own countries, which is why they agreed that Napoleon and all vestiges of the French Revolution had to be put down. So they managed to depose him, but their victory only served to delay the inevitable.

sources?

Napoleon's France was the first European nation to go full Total War mode, where the whole country is behind the war machine instead of just a warrior class led by wealthy financiers. This turned out to be OP when the countries he invaded weren't doing this yet, allowing France to become too big of a superpower.

Whenever any country threatens to become an OP super power, other countries fight them until they get back down to their old size or smaller so that the status quo isn't shaken too much.

Because history is written by the victors, most of what the common person knows of Napoleon is the anti-Napoleon propaganda like "short man syndrome."

Napoleon's total war policy was instituted as a direct response to international aggression due to the french revolution. It wasn't the cause of it.

>Why did he want to spread democracy?

Are you retarded?

You do realise he overthrew the republic, proclaimed himself Great Consul and later Emperor of France, and reinstituted hereditary monarchy, right?

>fantastic claim with no source

cool

He was just another continental who chimped out.

Yeah man, Napoleon wasn't a manlet. Well he is by todays standards, but then he was around 1.70. We always thought he was smaller but we used the wrong feet/inches (English instead of French).

See ya!

Napoleon is a Polish hero google up Polish legions

Shut the fuck up, Czeslaw. You are the only country I can imagine being proud of having been a vassal state.

you jelly becouse Napeleon respected us ?

He couldn't poo in Waterloo

Absolutely Designated

>Napoleon
>respecting anybody but "muh home isle" and "muh Josephine"

Has Poland ever been anything more than just land with other nation's armies on it?

laissez faire aux Polonais
we wuz empire until 1772

He is a proto-Hitler, that first killed a lot of his own people, than blitzkrieged any surrounding nation and killed their people and than went megalomaniac and decided to invade Russia despite being weakened. End.

>we wuz empire until 1772

Sorry bout that m8

>So it's funny how they talk about Hitler and Napoleon making the same "blunder" in invading Russia.
Yes, this is very suspicious. And both did this with a weakened military.

most of us americans do not share the distaste for Napoleon that most europeans feel.

>you jelly becouse Napeleon respected us ?

If only Russia had been defeated. Napoleon would have made Poland a kingdom. Maybe with Marshal Davout as king, with Marshal Poniatowski as minister of war.

no, but he can

You better take Silesia back again

whatever we got rekt in waterloo

Only if you remove the Poles first.

>Napoleon was just like Hitler

It was our Hitler. Dumb kraut.

>killed a lot of his own people

What kind of people and why? Was it like a French Holocaust?

>ywn see Napoleon comeback from Elbe
Hold me lads it real hurts

they are just germans that speak Polish they hate us

he should have won in waterloo but he was backstabbed by traitors masonic generals

>they hate us

Can't really blame them. Also, if we go by who's German but speaks a Slavic language, we should also annex Czechia.

Napoleon got seduced by power, he was a great man he did great deeds unlike hitler, yes he cause the death of million but remember million of soldiers it was only when he invaded spain where even the civilians would butcher his soldiers that it became total war at spain, but he was honorable and had superior intelligence he wrote the civil code made life better for the plebs and reduced the power of big aristocratic families, i could go on for hours on how he made the world better and would have united europe if he had not taken Russia and England at the same time.

Idk he did annex a lot of land into France and not just the usual Rhineland stuff every French monarch wanted.

This.
I love and respect Poland and Polish people but Napoléon was just a scumbag who didn't give a shit about you. He is responsible for the death of millions of European people.

no by no means he "killed alot of french people cause that was his army, soldiers die, c'est la vie

he gave us Poland hes a hero here in our history

All politicians are in the end only in it to feed their own ambitions. All ideologies, all of it, is in the end just a pretext for grabbing and increasing personal power (and getting attention). Fucking special snowflakes always need to feel like they're the protagonist of an epic.

oh no, not this shit again.

don't spit on your plate French cuck, i bet you dislike him just cause he was a filthy Italian that bested every french man at the time, he made your country great again your country was a mess just like Jeb

>He is responsible for the death of millions of European people

Who gives a shit? That's what usually happens in war.

I think most people don't know this but when he invaded Portugal, the royal family went to Brazil where they improved a lot of things around here, it was also because of this that Brazil got a peaceful independence we didn't had a war cause the Portuguese prince declared the independence and became the ruler of Brazil

Pedro I, right?

Man, what the fuck happened to your country? Why is it so shit now?

>FUCKING RUSSIA RUINS EVERYTHING

look at this energetic hans, if only you would be this energetic in real life
meanwhile your people go out only for playing pokemon GO

>Le Napoleon was italian meme

Teпepь нaшeл. Лepмoнтoв -- emofag.

>What was his goal?
Intially, to rule France
At the end, it wasnt very clear
>Why did he want to spread democracy?
He didnt
He spread some revolution ideals he believed in but certainly not democracy
>Did he just want more Lebensraum for the frogs?
Not specially
His conquest were mostly in self defense in war started against him (at the start because he was a commoner ruling a country, and at the hand because him ruled half the continent in addition to that made them even more butthurt)
>Were merchants involved?
They funded Britain

They were satellite states.

Well, when a country keeps attacking you and you keep defeating it, why not annex some of its lands to weaken it in hope it'll stop the madness?

>Napoleon's France was the first European nation to go full Total War mode, where the whole country is behind the war machine instead of just a warrior class led by wealthy financiers.

That was actually Revolutionary France (pic related), with the "levee en masse"
It permitted the French Republic to survive a combined assault from basically the entire civilized world

Napoleonic France didnt rely on that anymore, and had a professional army
If you study Napoleonic history, you'll notice France is outnumbered in most of the major battles (victories and defeats alike)

Another groomed Rothschild agent.

Napoleon is basically a hero for all of Western Civilization if you do a little reading.

In short, he was trying to destroy the international bankers that to this day control us. Naturally the British killed him, as is their nature.

what i find most amusing is that even after he was caught he wasn't executed or anything like that, he was exiled in an island with servants and shit so he lived a very boring end game life but still as a king or nobleman

That's how it was back then
Did Napoleon execute the kings of the countries he defeated? Nope, most of the time he didnt even depose them (Prussia, Austria...)

If they had executed him, it would have sent the message that it's okay to kill the monarch of a country you just defeated, and obviously european monarchs didnt want that since they hoped everything would go back to the "old way" (gentlemen wars, limited conflicts...etc)

>just another continental
Literally came from a small island. How can you not know that?

He was poisoned though IMO. Plus sending a man such as Napoleon Bonaparte to exile is cruel.

Fuck the British.

There is probably a lot of commonalities between Napoleon and a chunk of us here.

As lower middle class, he never really had a chance to rise to the top. So in his early years, he actually was cool with Jacobinism. He was also anti-France, favoring his own Corsican blood. And after he gets his commission, he tries to do Corsican politics. But as politics is a corrupt bout of money exchanging hands and popularity contests, he got the red pill of never being allowed to fix things rationally.

So he went back to France right as shit was hitting the fan. France was desperate, and his ability to be rational over rode not having friends in high places. He became a populist general. The Olde Garde and the Establishment generally hated his guts, but ue saved their asses.

And then women stab him on his back as well. Napoleon is a man who rose in an era of a sweet spot. Any time earlier or later he would not have risen. But he was a man who knew that generally people are retarded and need guidance, but they still need respect, especially soldiers. He sought to defend France and tell the bankers to fuck off. Money always wins though. But any national movement occurring in the 19th century can be traced to Napoleon.

His goal was to create a new order in Europe, you have to understand that Napoléon is a son of the Revolution, we always speak about "democracy" but the reality is Europe needed a structural change in the political and law system to fit its transformation from an agricultural civilization to an industrial one.

The biggest drive among intellectuals that launched the Revolution is that the Ancient Regime (the old aristocracy) became an obstacle to economical, ideological and industrial progress in Europe by refusing to adapt the transformation in society.
Basically european monarchy refused to do what the english monarchy did 100 years before.

Problem is the emperor lost himself in its own delusion and he soon became as authoritarians as the monarchs in Europe.
He faced the same problem that Charlemagne did too: he created a new aristocracy of warriors that served extremly well in its conquest but which needed conflicts to be kept in check.

Yeah, but not deliberately. They didn't know that the arsenic in the wallpaper paste would decompose in hot and humid weather. They didn't have that level of chemical knowledge at the time.

The British with their banker friends couldn't allow France to succeed. The British where 24/7 trying to bribe and turn his allies against him.

Napoleon authoritarian? No shit. So what? He never compromised on liberal values.

Exile is death.

I was referring to the poisoning.

always fucking England, the Tzar and Napoleon were pals, he once said if the tzar was a woman he would marry him, what happened is that after blockading England the russian economy decayed you can guess probably ((((who))))) did this, so Russia ended the blockade and it pissed off Napoleon, that's why he went to invade Russia with 600 thousand troops, but then ruskies did their magic and burned moscow so when napoleon arrived after winning the first battle he couldn't support his troops in the winter and had to fall back, out of the 600 thousand troops only about 100 thousand made it back, cause dispite the winter the russians would attack them at their retreat

I know. I was saying that even if the British didn't intentionally poison him, sending a man to a life of exile on a small island is just as bad.

Napoleon deserved to remain in France with his wife.

He actually fought a bunch of wars against Arabs, Turks and Muslims.

his wife at the end was the daughter of the king of austria he denied him to ever see his wife or son ever again

Are you ever going to move to Germany?

He's from Corsica, tho.

>angloshits

what?

he created Poland as a lanching pad to Russia and made polacks die in snow for his ambitions. But I guess sufferings of the past generations are now forgotten and only tales of heroism are remembered

he didn't cause he was honorable, the prussians wanted him dead britain saved him after waterloo

His goal conquer Europe so he could obtain the perfect waifu & spread her legs

Napoleon just wanted power for the sake of power, just like any conqueror. He was just very good at it

He was friend of Robespierre, but was quick to change sides when thermidorians took power.

He went to egypt to win some fame, but returned and let men there die when france was in turmoil so he could jump in as a savior and grab power.

Eventually, this "son of revolution" became another absolutist monarch in all but name. He sacrificed thousands of frenchmen a month to put his family members on foreign throne. As bonapartes were so drunk with power that Joseph even demanded napoleon to make him Emperor of france, as joseph was older son.

he gave your country glorious history but most of it he did just for himself

read the book 'Napoleon a Life' by Andrew Roberts it's the best one on the Napoleonic Epic

The most retarded thing Napoleon did during the war was restoring slavery in Saint-Domingue at a time when General Leclerc was already having a very difficult time reconquering the island from ex-slave rebels and SPECIFICALLY asked him not to do so.

Had he not done so, the island colony would likely still be in French hands today.

this and this

>in all but name
he made himself an emperor a title that had not been seen in the west since the roman era, but he did not do it for power only, he got led astray by it, he did cause he saw a vacuum of power that would be filled with other monarchs that would return everything back to what it was, so he used his chance, you clearly have a very basic knowledge of his conquest in Egypt, he brought in scholars he took back to France hundreds of historical pieces including the stone that deciphered the hieroglyphs, he shine a new light in European exploration of ancient cultures and was the father of Egyptology

Napoleon is the grandfather of Slovenia...

Seriously if it wasn't for him, we would never have our own nation.

He created the Illyrian Provinces and under his reign we had the first newspaper in Slovenian.

If it wasn't for him, we'd be speaking German.

Thank you based Napoleon!

French Revolution and Revolutionary/Napoleonic Wars were funded by the rich merchant/industrialist/manufacturist etc. class which had no political power in the previous regime, despite being a significant/major part of the economy/taxation.
That is why France could go through all these conflicts for such a long period, and not run out of money. The negative propaganda about the royal couple is pure fiction, but the crown/monarchy were bankrupt. Contrast this to France somehow managing to finance 1790-1815 wars and development.

also this, he is the father of many nations even without realizing it at the time, he is also the father of Brazil as i stated earlier, i clearly believe that this man was probably one of the greatest leaders this world has ever seen

Why do you need your own nation?
