This was the best movie of the DCEU

>this was the best movie of the DCEU

It doesn't have much competition yet, senpai.

This but I doubt it ever will have any competition.

>people retroactively thinking MoS was good
I'm tired of this meme.

it was fucking terrible

even without bringing up RT, it really is

They are all the same to me at this point

It would've gotten way better review scores if all the critics weren't complaining about "not muh superman"

According to what metric? BvS was better. They were both great movies though.

I wanted it to be good, but I just can't say it was good.

Who said anything about MOS being good? But that doesn't change the fact that it IS the best of the modern DCEU movies.

>tfw loved this movie
>tfw was hype as fuck for the sequel before bvs was announced
>knew bvs and suicide squad would be shit from the start
The kinofags over at WB have completely killed my hype for this """""cinematic universe""""" over the past 3 years, which is a shame because I loved both MOS and the Nolanverse (the Burtonverse also).

I just just finished finally watching BvS

I mean, it was not bad as a movie. Just mediocre. Though, it is true that even the movie itself advertised as Superman and Batman beating the shit out of each other, the actual thing lasted like what, 10 minutes?

Wonder woman just being there didn't seem to fit. I mean they could have added her in the end to hint future movies.

I guess it was true when people said this Lex Luthor was a fucking autist. What was his motive again?

I think people are just disappointed. Cavill is a fantastic Superman, Afleck is great, Robbie is a good Quinn, etc.
But they keep getting fucked over by stupid directors and bad corporate suits trying to make money.
If Marvel Studios was in charge, it would be better only because they can create a semi-coherent universe

I still hate everything to do with Pa Kent and how gloomy the whole story felt but sadly, it really is the best DCEU movie by far.

you got a problem with Capekino bub?

better than any marvel scene and I like almost every marvel movie

Being the best of shit doesn't mean good.
Timmy earned 30% the best of his friends, Bob got 20%, and Jim got 10%. They're all still shit, or however you want to think of it.

Suicide Squad is infinitely superior to Man of Steel.

...

Man of Steel is better than every Marvel movie bar Avengers and The Winter Soldier

...

MoS is better than any Marvel movie that's not

>Avengers
>Winter Soldier
>GotG
>Iron Man
>Civil War
>Ant-Man
>First Avenger
>Days of Future Past
>First Class
>X-Men
>X2
>Deadpool
>Spider-Man
>Spider-Man 2

It's still shit.

It's pretty much the equivalent of the scene where Star Lord jumps out of his ship to save Gamora, and is picked up by the Ravagers, or when he grasps the Infinity Stone, both visually and in its purpose of showing a hero struggle against something that could kill him to help others, except that it has less attractive use of color, less investment in the people the hero is putting himself on the line for, and is less of a turning point in the story for the hero.

In fact, you could have taken this half of the world engine thing out of the story completely, and what would be removed? A way for Superman to struggle against an obstacle that's a true challenge for him? You could have done the same thing except with the Black Zero itself. Except that would mean there's no reason for Superman to be absent during the Black Zero's attack on metropolis, and you would have less destruction porn, which I guess is important to Zack Snyder. It's not a great scene, it's a lame, time wasting plot device for a director to indulge his building destruction fetish.

He's right MCUck, also stop posting laughing evans for the sake of posting laughing evans.

...

That's not Suicide Squad, so no.

>What was his motive again?
To checkmate Christians and tip his fedora to m'lady/m'zod

...

I love this movie. Wish they would have did a direct sequel to it instead of this convoluted mess we have now.

I wish they had just made the yellow part straight up black because it's not very yellow to begin with and keeps changing.

I've always thought the movie was doing the character a disservice by having his big "save the world" moment be where nobody could see it.

If he's supposed to bring hope and inspire people why the hell does he go to the ass end of nowhere to do the thing that would bring hope and inspire people?

I don't know, I prefer the yellow. Would have just made it brighter. The cuffs could have been black, better contrast instead of everything being blue.

I don't like it, but I can understand why a rational person might.

Not so with the other two.

See, that you think Avengers is one of the good ones makes me question your taste just as much as liking MoS.

Man of Steel is better than all of those.
