Signs by Mel Kino.
I can't tell whether Sup Forums's sudden fascination with this shit movie is a meme or not. Objectively bad film with hamfisted cliche themes.
Agreed. It's a huge step down from Mel's other efforts. I don't think he can ever top Apocalypto.
Perhaps oddly enough. I found the scene where the two priests first hear confessions and celebrate mass to be pretty moving.
...
You should try watching something that isn't complete garbage
This was true kino and one of the best films of the century imo.
The Passion of Christ
The Ten Commandments
The Prince of Egypt
Hacksaw Ridge
Ironically I can't tell if you're a contrarian meme or not, desu senpai
Shia in Fury was great. Said that film made him become a Christian.
Hacksaw Ridge was laughable
The war scenes were some of the best in a while. They were really gritty and brutal. Ive seen a lot of war movies and i found hacksaw ridge to be especially savage.
Tree of Life
Thanks for clearing that up for me, dude.
It didn't live up to the hype but it was bretty gud anyways.
...
Agreed. Outside of Hugo I just don't get what people like about it.
The movie is too sincere for people untouched by God's grace
One of my favorites
...
>your faith
What if you put your faith in atheism??!
The truth is reflected in the mind, of the sincere
This is the only movie of this century that addresses faith in a smart manner. Everything else is ridiculous propaganda, overly gorey, or fails to have any subtlety.
Too bad it's a borefest for the first hour or so and it was directed by scorsese
>The Tree of Life doesn't address faith intelligently
Someone just post the webms, that usually shuts the shills up
What about A Serious Man?
That too. There are multiple intelligent films about faith. They just don't get marketed as religious movies
>propaganda that inspires you to consume more of it
Flat Earth: The Movie

Knight of Cups made me believe in existentialism again.
unironically this, no memeing
God Bless Adolf Hitler, the Lightning and the Sun
A++ post bruh
I'll stay true to my disbelief in god.
Checkmate Christfags.
This would be my pick, as well. Such a beautiful, tender film.
Atheists truly are scum.
>says the person who believes in something ironically
So...THIS is the power of Christ
I'm a deist that really appreciated Hacksaw Ridge. Am I allowed to play in your sandbox?
DUDE HUMAN SHIELDS LMAO
this is Sup Forums. they are just gay cuz every1 knows their god isn't real
Fucking retarded.
This movie is way over the top and ridiculous.
I liked Silence
Was this actually in the movie?
I don't think I fully grasp your point. And I don't think you correctly understood my question. Maybe, try again?
Additionally, if its not too much trouble, please clear your name field.
>over the top
Privileging realism is a modern trend. Realistic movies aren't inherently better.
I don't know but when I come to Sup Forums I always think of God and family first and foremost
I was conflicted to watch this movie. On one had this movie looked beautiful to watch and on the other it's a religious movie directed by a Jew.
Scorsese is an Italian Catholic who studied to be a priest
I wonder who would be the best Christ-bro out Bible from Fury, The sniper from Saving Private Ryan, or Limey Peter Parker from Hacksaw Ridge?
Odin listens....
Every time the Lord Jesus Christ tells him to shut up.
Thin Red Line
FRAILTY
The movie literally tests your faith, makes you ashamed of it, then restores it over 9000 by the end!
