I think it's because of the positioning of her two claws. The gap in-between makes me think more about where the claws actually come out from on both her and wolverine, and it makes me think about how disgusting and probably painful that actually is. It doesn't bother me now though, and I have no idea when it stopped bothering me. Guess it's because I've seen much grosser shit at this point

Pretty big fan. I like the origin of being created solely as a weapon. Like Cassandra Cain or Hanna. She was alright in the cartoon. NYX was garbage. Her first two miniseries were enjoyable. New X-Men was pretty great, though she was really present at what I consider after the peak of the series. X-Force was great, especially Sex & Violence, even though she didn't do all that much. I really loved that Marjorie Liu ongoing. I like that dynamic with Wolverine, Gambit, and Jubilee. The FF Adventures in Babysitting issue is fantastic too. I think that series had a ton of potential and I wish it had a longer run.
I stopped reading superhero comics entirely not long after the Liu series so I don't know about anything since. I guess she fucks Angel and uses contractions now so maybe that's good.

I think shes a pretty good character. She had an unfortunate few years between Avengers Arena/Bendis' ANXM/Wolverines, but honestly with All-New Wolverine, she's maybe not back at the peak she was during the Liu run, but definitely heading back in that direction.
Eh, her All-New Wolverine personality isn't really that big a departure, especially if you take it as a logical progression of her gradually opening up to people after the Liu run & Avengers Academy, especially with an 8-month gap. Taylor seems to have a pretty good grip on her personality and history, all things considered. Honestly I'm glad we're out of the endless loop of Laura learning to make friends and then getting reset back to being a loner at the end of the storyline or series.
Now her personality in ANXM is an abomination, but that's on Bendis & Hopeless.
