English idiom thread

Let's talk about English idiom!

please help me remember a certain idiom.
That idiom deals with a thin thread or something else and it means that such thin things make final results ruined.
this problem of me being unable to remember prevents me from sleeping well and makes me very very annoyed.
pic related in a way.

Fuck off English teacher.

I'm just an English learner, if I were so then would I need to build this thread?

you can make fun of your Japanese students later

you will say all the idioms and your students will not know the idioms

then you will say, "haha you are stupid!"

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?
The emporer has no clothes?

my dick hurts

IM ENGLISH AND WHAT THE FUCK IS AN IDIOM

pls don't confuse our teachers with your nation's stupid and incompetent teachers in public school.
the emperor's mercy will cure me of this problem.

A thin thread around your neck will keep your depression in check

Hanging by a thread?

I asked it in /brit/ and the messiah said that it might be "the last straw (that breaks the camel's back)".
yes this is the answer.
I cannot help admiring him.
no

Your description of its meaning was shit.

Bake a cake eat the dyke, english idiom for zitto animale.

but it is not too wrong, right?
yes my description may be full of shit sorry and please fuck me, karen.

>dyke
yuri girls are dyke, aren't they?

It's the accumulation of small events which lead to a large, usually negative, reaction over the seemingly minor final event.

Having the culmination is what's important for this idiom to make sense.

Yes.

Your choice of words is odd

If I were you I wouldn't bother that much with idioms until I had a higher English level

thank you.
In fact what I could come up with is just that that idiom entails some tiny thing(the right answer is in this term "straw") and I forgot the nuance of the idiom, so it prevents you guys from making sense of what I said.
fuck off
hehehe it is I myself that look down on my command of English
please disdain me

I'm going to beat my dick like it owes me money.

*sigh*
I'm very annoyed with my lack of good command of English.
I try to write my English sentences according to English grammar(at least I intend to) but it seems that my letters don't look idiomatic.
how clumsy I am to use English.

"Thin threads ruin the final results"

You won't have much luck unless you move to a majority English speaking cunt.

so if I'll go there I'll be luckily happy?
