Forgot to spoiler the image. So, I had a thought and went to check on something.
We know Beach City is in Delmarva, on the coast around where Delaware, Maryland and Virginia meet.
And now, we know that the Temple clearly predates the formation of Beach City.
So I went to see if maybe they set up on one of those special spots, but they didn't. There's nothing where Delmarva is. But there ARE two spots in the ocean near it.
So, what I'm wondering is, why the fuck did the Temple fusion happen and seem to protect/fight on that coastline? It had to have happened post-war since Amethyst is a part of it. Could something have come from those spots in the ocean?
Pearl asks Garnet if asking the pair is a good idea, probably expecting a reply using future vision or at least garnets intellect. Instead she turns and with a RED visor (IE Ruby says it) that "she can't".

The Temple had to be something they made seperate from Homeworld, but why did they pic that location specifically?
Also, it looks as if the Temple kinda blocked a large swath of something based on how the cliffs form around it. Did it protect that spot just by chance while stopping something from one of those spots in the sea, or is there something important about that location even before Beach City came to be?
That fusion doesn't actually look like Alexandrite either, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying that the temple now 100% has to predate the founding of Beach City, so what was it that called for Temple Fusion after the war?

The show-bible has established that Garnet never ask questions. The only time she ask a question is in The answer, when she is Garnet for the first time, to which Rose replay "no more Question".
In-story, it's probably just that Garnet know that there is a surprise coming, but if she ask them, her future vision will spoil it for her, so she don't want to ask as to not ruin the surprise.
Don't get me wrong, I love all fusions, but I can't stop pushing Malachite. She's best fusion for sure.
