Girlfriends have a tendency, in my experience, to obtain large, comfy articles of clothing from their boyfriends to lounge around in. They generally appropriate them and the clothing becomes part of their regular wardrobe. I lost a pair of basketball shorts to my ex-wife.
Thankfully the only thing I lost.
