Katherine Johnson was a very talented college graduate who got a job at NASA much like many talented college graduates did. Even despite the racial segregation elsewhere in society at the time. They could have made a genuine inspiring film about a wonderful woman by keeping it true, but instead they've decided to very loosely base it on her to make a racebait movie.
