I don't do drugs on impulses, there are always reasons and circumstances around it. I'm not always high, even though it probably seems like it to you guys.

The drugs I'm doing right now aren't really drugs, they're more like medicaments. They help me study more, even though they're illegal, and I don't really get "high" from them at all.

Hmmm what sort of a game is it? I recently upgraded my rig so it can take on almost anything. Not really a single player game type guy though, but if something can immerse me enough I might just get hooked

It's pretty damn immersive tbqh, highly detailed world and realistic character interactions. Maybe check for some reviews in a day or so to see if you might like it.

I'm using dexamphetamine right now, brand name "attentin". I'm using relatively low doses, just to get that small edge to study better. It works great for me, I feel just a tiny bit sharper, and everything I do is just a tad bit more structured. Usually take 10 or 15 mg, start out with 10, 5 more later once the first 10 kick in. Add in a bit of caffeine and nicotine, and you have a well functioning mixture to add to your productivity.

Before exams I always take 10mg about two hours before it starts, and then 5mg just before I enter the room. If I feel like it, I can up it with 15 at first, but I like easing myself into it, and just taking booster-doses through the study session.

I'm a huge fan of XFCE in general so I run Xubuntu on stuff I have to use day to day for productive things, my server runs Debian without X because it's comfy and just werks. I'm also a fan of Parabola (or just general Arch if you're a fucking pleb), thinking of putting it on my laptop again. I got a bigrig running Qubes though, which is a lot of fun, but very taxing on the system resources. Mostly CPU-intensive for me, lots of overhead but you can control it yourself thanks to how well integrated Qubes is with XFCE and the Qubes VM Manager.

Got a bunch of computers sitting around which I'm going to use as a computer-lab in my flat, it's just that I've lost my USB so I'm gonna pick up a new one soon to load the ISOs on.

Things I want to try:

Will help me understand the system a lot better, and maybe a steppingstone to LFS later on.

No, actually I haven't. I should probably have added that to the list. They seem interesting, but I haven't looked much into it.

It's a NAS and seedbox. I keep my anime there, along with backups.

It might have something to do with running three separate Firefox instances, in three separate virtual machines, along with a bunch of other VMs running each their own applications.

Hurd is one a them there microkernels or whatever it's called, basically it lets you do neat stuff like load and unload modules while the kernel is still running. Basically, you never need to reboot for important updates unless Match (I think it was called?), the most basic part of the microkernel needs an update, which isn't very often I think.
