On a serious note, the new True Start Location map for Europe is fun but insanely difficult for the Netherlands. Starting almost on top of Germany, France, and England is death.

Obigatory
The True Start Location map is the thing I ever wanted, but yeah if you are Euro and have other Euro civs near you it is pretty darn hard

No, they added a new Europe-only True Start map where Europe is the size of a normal map.

Ah darn didn't look too much into it
I remember being a mod scenario for Civ V which was pretty much that, and being Netherlands, Austria, or Venice was hard

*there being

Stop posting my OC

Sure

O kurwa, jak sei masz

I hope someone makes a rape scene out of those two

>fucking australia gets in
>portugal doesn't
the absolute state, also Jadwiga is cute

But user, Portugal IS in the game ;)

Wasn't that guy also King of England briefly? That means England gets in twice. Four times if you count the USA and Australia, which you probably should.

Technically, yes, after he married Mary I

tfw not playing this game until Complete Edition is released
i'm tired of getting new dlcs on daily basis

Civilization 5 with all addons is still the best

All of you so far had the wrong answer.
Portugal was represented.

>What is iberian union

May god bless your soul, leaf.

we are neither popular nor a relevant market segment, such is life.
at least it's not another Maria I + cities with wrong names

please, this is the royal senpai

Are they the direct descendants of the firstborn son of Dom João? Are they the direct descendants of the firstborn son of Dom Pedro?
Are they the direct descendants of the firstborn son of Dom Pedro II?

No, they are the descendants of Miguel, the brother of Pedro, the prince that didn't abdicate the throne.

No one cares about portugal.

>Abdicate
So you come running from Napoleon with your tails between your legs, settle here, make it the new capital, and once things settle down you go back there and the one that decides to stay has abdicated? Absolutely fine, I won't hold it against you, Miguel is now the legitimate heir.

baka cute queen

"the one that decided to stay" also came back to Portugal, and died fighting here, is also buried here, made specific arrangements to have his body and his heart buried in two different sites in Portugal.
Even D. Pedro II was buried here for a while, but Brazilians begged us to let you have his corpse.
Literally, "brazil was a mistake". No king died for Brazil, no king wanted to be burried there.

>"the one that decided to stay"
Was meant as Dom Pedro 2, as in the "Dia do Fico".

>Quando Dom Pedro II voltou ao Rio de Janeiro (capital brasileira na época) encontrou a ingrata surpresa: foi deposto. Desiludido, não lutou e teve que voltar a Portugal. A única exigência dele era levar um travesseiro na viagem de navio — não um travesseiro cheio de plumas, mas cheio de terra, terra do Brasil que ele queria guardar de lembrança.

>Desiludido, não lutou
Foda-se, o que é que vocês fizeram aos Pedros? Que depressão...
"Brazil was a mistake"
t. D. Pedro II

Ok then, friend, I guess I'll have to resort to the age old argument of "God Bless Fonseca".
