It's hated?
I always see it as forgotten but not hated.

the ps1 game was fun, one of my favs

This is the most underrated Disney movie ever

best disney movie

that's not hercules

>that soundtrack

hey disney, i need to go to the bathroom.

can you hold on to my idea for a quick moment?

Avatar was a complete rip-off of this movie. I don't get why everybody compared avatar to Pocahantas when it came out.

is this a movie?

thus board is beyond salvation

All anime is hollow, soulless imitation of western culture for pedophiles. We just take their """"ideas"""" and make them watchable for people with actual social and emotional intelligence

>muh animuh is relevant

Reminds me of the Stargate movie tbqh

Movie had a massive flaw in that someone took "Introduce all the characters in the first act" too seriously and forced them to add that shitty scene of Kiva watching Atlantis getting flooded. This made it seem like later in the movie the Atlanteans were all immortals who went retarded and forgot to read.

The other problem is that the writers came up with a dozen different comedy relief characters and refused to cut a single one.

The movie would have been better if Kiva was introduced shortly after their sub crashed underground and they started to use her as a guide; then kept to the original plan of them encountering a bunch of weird creatures on the way back to Atlantis.

Basically have had the Atlanteans live in tribes throughout the cave system and consider the city taboo.

this movie did things to my dick i didn't think possible

because people claimed it ripped off anime
despite forgetting that secret of blue water was a mesh up of all the "theories" around Atlantis too

I know what you mean lad

The movie was okay but I really liked the amount of work that got put into the Atlantean language. My earliest foray into the idea of conlangs.

>"theories"
What did you mean by this?

How was the straight to video sequel?

It was ahead of its time. I GUARANTEE that if this movie was released today, it would get get major positive reviews.

Is this the scene where they fuck?

The closest you can get to sex in a Disney feature, yes.

It was 3 kind of bad episodes of a failed series spin off mashed together

Not closer than this though.

FUCK I forgot about that one. Spawned a generation of furries.

you know what I mean

Difference is, I couldn't fap to that. The brown girl practically begging for that guys dick got me rock hard as a kid.

it's very, very, very uneven

>general director hideaki anno

This

where do you think you are?

I have fond memories of watching this at a sleepover with a girl

so yes, for me, its kino

How come Pablo has never been doxxed? Or at the very least, ID'd?

Joss whedons best work desu.

I love Nadia, but you need to kys

>blue water was a mesh up of all the "theories" around Atlantis too

It was just a rip-off of Laputa, but a good one at that. Also, Eva exists because of it.

There is literally never a time you should watch Atlantis when you shouldn't just watch Titan AE instead.

Look mom I'm trolling!

It's just Treasure Planet set in the past

I fucking wish Fox Animation hadn't shut down. Titan AE and Anastasia were kino as fuck and he was planning an animated Divine Comedy adaptation next that would've been at least PG-13.

Pleb.

Bruh, you can't just drop truth bombs like this on these plebs. They're just not ready for it.

This is a good post

Anastasia is shit and you only disagree because you forgot how awful any scene not involving Rasputin was

As much as I hate to admit it, is exactly right. It feels like they couldn't get a series greenlit and just combined three unrelated "episodes" into a movie. Honestly I'm surprised it was even made, the original movie stood alone fine. Though I guess Disney loved doing straight to video movies back in the day.

As much as she's an unfunny cunt, Nostalgia Chick's two videos about Disney sequels make this point really well and kind of explain why everything except the Aladdin series sucked so hard

I don't remember it being hated. Anyone who has actually seen it seems to like it. It's just that it's very underwatched because it's old and Disney hasn't done a whole lot to acknowledge it since it came out.

It's also the first movie I remember seeing in the theaters on the first day of release.

Damn... the protagonist even looks kind of similar.

>implying the scene in the ballroom was bad

>ONCE UPON A OCTOBER
no

The first one is underrated, the second one is hated, as a lot of direct-to-DVD disney movies.

I'll give them a watch, thanks.

Atlantis?

Lose the weeb poster and you're good to go.

Reminder that the Atlantis series was supposed to crossover with Gargoyles

youtube.com/watch?v=ygrEVnrg3Ic

except treasure planet was actually good and not forgettable

I always think that Sup Forums has gotten to the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to being a shitty contrarian, and yet someone always manages to prove me wrong.

That said since Lindsay's already been posted there's no real reason to stick around

>treasure planet was actually good

>Reminds me of the Stargate movie tbqh

>implying this scene wasn't 100% unadultered K I N O

youtube.com/watch?v=Ex9AWegauJM

Not that user
But sometimes these pedofags need to have the truth dropped on them. But they'll deny it any ways and post smug lolicon girls as a defense.

White Stripes as FUCK

Not him, but they do have the exact same beginning. With Milo and Daniel both getting laughed at for their wild claims. Then they both get propositioned by mystery ladies and it's even raining in both scenes.

THERE'S A PARTY HERE IN AGRABAH

HE PUTS THE ERIC IN GENERIC

I wish more female characters were written like Helga. That's what a strong woman should be but you dont need to fucking cram it down people's throats.

That would have been awesome. I've never met a single person who disliked Gargoyles.

Then leave, nobody gives a fuck what you think.

No, fag.

Wouldn't the contrarian opinion be that you do give a fuck about what he thinks then?

I always remember the other game because they apparently thought the protagonist wasn't badass enough and gave him sunglasses.

>KKK spotlight on the black guy

Yes, that's why I'm angrily telling him to leave. Think, bro.

I think people only see strong female characters as "crammed down people's throats" because there's such a rage at liberals that has built up over the last few years and since most people in positions of power are liberal you have people who are angry at them no matter what they do.

Do you miss the feel of the early-mid 2000s, Sup Forums?

People seem to think things when to shit after 9/11 but I think things from Late 2001-2006 were still good. It was 2007 with the iPhone, Great Recession, social media, Out of Jimmy's Head, Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit booming in traffic, the fucking Big Bang Theory, etc. where things truly went downhill.

Ya'll better not forget Treasure Planet and Titan A.E.

The bat ruined those scenes anyway.

It wasn't hated just got lukewarm respond when it came out.
I like it alot when I was a kid but I realize later that the movie goes down once they get to Atlantis.

yes :(

true /kino/

>underwater wolf brigade

thats because your underage mate.

Actually I'm 22

An under 18 would barely remember the early mid 2000s, they'd mostly remember the shitty late 2000s

Conquistadors knew what was up.

i remember having the demo that came in a cereal box as a child. not only was it my first FPS game, but it was also the first time i heard the phrase "keep your eyes peeled". i was thoroughly confused

>I've never seen Outlaw Star or Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The Post

With all due respect - kill yourself.
