You are not alone, when I watched for the first time I had the same feeling I had when Zatoichi came out, the feeling of seeing something completely refreshing and cool.
My absolute favorite scene is the right at the beginning when we her kill that guy on a horse.
This movie is better at being Assassin Creed than Assassin Creed.

Confessions genuinely is one of the most beautiful films ever made, best part is how unique it is, can't really think of any film edited like it.
Honestly pretty dissapointed, didn't think this film looked all that great at all. Especially the "hidden cam on army moving" scenes, they were just ugly, desu.
