Do you love Japan?

Do you love Japan?

I want to love Japan, but I feel that I must first come to terms with many of your social practices and beliefs before I can solidly say that I love you truly.

I'm sorry I'm not an important country like Australia or Belgium but I hope that despite my small size and relative insignificance my words won't leave you feeling bereaved.

I do not know how to answer this without first asking, in what sense do you mean love? For the word love can have multiple meanings and interpretations and I do not wish to mislead you if the interpretation I use to answer does not align with your interpretation, so I feel that to clear such problems away I need to first know what you mean by love.

The more I come to this board, the harder I find it to love Japan

I want love to find Japan.

Shit taste tbqh

>Do you love Japan?
yes and I love you too

It looks nice, but your societal practices are dumb.

>Your
OP isn't Japanese.

That doesn't detract from the original question which was "Do you love Japan?"

Thank you

Panama

Wanna make love?

Yes and I hope I'll live in Japan in future.

I love the 23 Wards of Tokyo and Kyoto, but the rest of the country seems to be stuck in a time loop where it's still 1993

Thank you! but the rest of the country seems to be stuck in a time loop where it's still 1993

Local cities have changed a lot.
Osaka has also improved considerably compared with 15 years ago.

Pls cum in me daddy

Hello, Malay-Chan!
Welcome :3

Yes. Thanks for samurai movies, anime and vidya. And music that lags 15 years behind the west.
Can you start making porn that's less rapey though? And eat a little more, you're all so skinny and small.

Suomi!!

Can you cosplay as Miku before we start?

I have a certain fondness of Japanese literature.

>Can you start making porn that's less rapey though?

I'm sorry.
I am not a porn producer, so I don't know about it. :_3

>And eat a little more, you're all so skinny and small.

You are worried that a Japanese girl is too thin.
You are very kind.
Thank you, Finnish user!

I'm sorry!
I can't cosplay Miku! x3
( I think Russian girls are most suited )

>Japanese literature
What books do you like?

I love japanese people!
Both boys and girls!

Kawabata Yasunari's novels are great. His portrayal of love and tradition standing against modernity makes me feel a bit sad, and it's perfect.

I also like Akutagawa Ryunosuke's novellas, especially his short story, "Mori Sensei". It hits close to home.

To me, it is the best place in the world in a matter of education and morality.
People don't trash the country, use masks when sick, do not handshake and take shoes off before getting into someone else's house.
The streets are beautiful, even the criminals (Yakuza) are cool and helpfull and people know communism is bad, instead of idolatrate popstars and artists they honor their emperor.
The closest i got to Japan was when i used to go to a japanese school in my country, everything was so nice. Now everybody smoke weed and hear loud american music INSIDE the class.

Si

Thank you!

si?

Yasunari Kawabata!
You know old works.
His novel is sweet and sour.
So, while reading, it makes me somewhat sad.
(But I feel like I'm feeling refreshed at the end)

His novel was made into a movie many times.
Especially "伊豆の踊子(The Dancing Girl of Izu)" was played by popular idols in Japan.

> especially his short story, "Mori Sensei".

I didn't know "Mori-sensei".
Reading books of Akutagawa Ryunosuke,
I feel like that I can to take an objective view of our common sense and good and evil.

Every time I remember ”河童 (Kappa)”,
I'm sure that the modern world is steadily approaching the Kappa world...

solve your organized crime
stop dropping dead from work-related stress
stop having weird, terrible fetishes
start having kids
then I will love you Japan
