Why do Americans have their weddings, funerals and college graduations outside?

What if it rains?

Bored?

why would anyone sit through that bullshit? i just had them send my diploma in the mail

It is a bit weird.
For funerals you always see a bunch of people with umbrellas too.

I think it's because they like to be buried better than cremated, have big extensive graveyards, and many Northern Europeans (that make for the protestant bulk of America) traditionally try not to mind rain.

You didn't go to your graduation?

being outside is nice. generally, outdoor venues can hold more people. it's difficult to have graveside funerals inside; many people also have funerals in a church. in a lot of places, it doesn't rain too often.

Probably to show off how effective their police force is. I mean they don't even have walls around their houses.

I thought that was from the Sims or something.

Am I crazy?

Looks like Age of Empires to me.

thumbnail made me think it was habbo hotel

>inmediatly step out of your door
>eveyone can see you
>the entire perimetrer around your house its almost a public space

...

Nah that looks isometric as fuck, I thought maybe this was what pokemon games look like these days

I thought it was a strategy game, then I enlarged the image and it looked like desperados or something, that picture doesn't look like real life

We bring umbrellas in case it rains :^)

america is like 90% desert

it's not just you

>funeral are sad
>rain is dark and depressing

It's almost like tv is a visual medium

Holy. fucking. shit. I thought you guys were just taking the piss.

I legit thought that was a strategy game when I first saw the thumbnail, until I noticed OP's filename

You're a dumb ass. TV =\= reality

Every funeral and graduation I've been to has been indoors. Its almost as if media is fictional gasp

I didn't go to my high school graduation. Pretty much cus I hated everyone and didn't want to be around them longer than needed

Where do you live?

I was forced to go to mine because we had to buy the graduation uniforms and they were like $100 each, plus my mom wanted to take pictures of graduated me. Shit was so boring
