Simpsons house

Ok so I remember the rumpus room from the episode where Bart and Milhouse fight in the treehouse and homer is sitting in there but when do they ever show the downstairs toilet? I don't remember a single episode it's in

Also post inconsistencies

I am trying very hard but I do think we've never seen the downstairs bathroom in all 50+ seasons

maybe that will be the finale

well it's the one thing they probably haven't butchered yet, I wouldn't put it past them

I'm sure I've seen the downstairs bathroom. The stairs to the basement can switch between a coat closet and a bathroom.

isn't it in that treehouse of horror film when homer travels back in time to the jurassic period?

nope

i always assumed that rumpus room was upstairs

Springfield itself is full of inconsistencies depending on the plot for an episode. One episode Moes is down the road from Homers, then in the movie it's next door to the church.

I never really liked the simpsons

Originally The Simpsons was meant to be set in a static environment, but it changed on a whim quite early on, and it got away with it because it had a reason. In the Stonecutters episode - for the sake of one gag - Homer has to park behind his own house when he gets to work.

What a pointless waste of time that image is.

Frank Grimes was right to get pissed, Homer lives in a fucking palace

I think the downstairs toilet may have been in the episode where Homer drunkenly leers at Maude Flanders' cleavage.

well they need space, they do have two kids

...

is springfield a coastal city?

why did I never get that vibe?

theres a downstairs toilet in the fracking episode, the water sets on fire in there because patty and selma are smoking or something

They have many, many scenes near the ocean, while inside Springfield.

Springfield isn't consistent

>>>/reddit/

that's one of the examples of inconsistencis. some scenes take part on the beach or at the lighthouse, yet in others springfield seems to be land locked, for example when they try to flee the city because of bart's comet

which state is it in?

>90% white
>small town with mountains, forest, lakes on its doorstep
>snows during winter
>no beaners

PNW? Colorado?

I'd rather live in Frasiers flat to be honest

I don't get it.

In the Simpsons Movie it's revealed to be on the corners of Nevada, Maine, Kentucky and a few other states. Also the capital city is named "Capital City."

it's based on Eugene, Oregen

>finale

That master bathroom is fucking absurd. Palatial, even.

is it established when they moved into the house? i can't remember if it ever was mentioned

>Simpsons porn

why though?
Homer looks up to see them and Bart often climbs over from his room to the treehouse, they are on the same height.

please don't tell me this is the first time you've seen simpsons porn

well in the do it for her episode lisa wasnt born yet when they lived there.

do you think they stocked catsup?

I tend to stay away from it because 100% of it is atrocious.

i thhink i remember an episode where homer is reacting to marge telling him she's pregnant with bart. can anyone remember which one that was or maybe find the scene on youtube?

>one giant bathroom, two full bathrooms and one toilet

Fuck, no wonder he employed Daphne to clean them all. I never realised how big the place was outside of the main living room and thought it was just him trying to be fancier than he was, employing someone just because Niles employed someone in his house.

Bart vs australia

i have no idea what you're trying to say

My God

The episode, bart vs Australia

What about it?

i have still no idea what you're trying to say. are we just posting random episode titles now?
>Bart the Genius

That's an episode where the bathroom is visible

the thing that pisses me off episode to episode is some episodes the back living room with the tv is right by the front door. someone will come in with groceries or something through the front door and look left to the others watching tv. other episodes its like in the picture

It's in that epis...you know what just go fuck yourself. w/e man.

Oh.

grew up there

pretty shitty experience

>Eugene, Oregen
>read wikipedia article
>find this

That's the same episode and yes, the flashbacks where he rips out his hair shows that they were living in that house before even Bart was born.

In the movie it's not Moe's Tavern, it's 'Moe's Bar' which, according to canon, is a separate establishment run by another 'Moe'

...

That's the upstairs bathroom.

...

>tfw no way to drive around casually in Simpsons Road Rage

Here it is.

sweet jesus, it's real

Its supposed to be everytown america so they will only show it when the plot needs it

which episode was that? google only says treehouse of horror

Treehouse of Horror IV (S05E05)

It's the Homer souls his soul for a doughnut episode, I think

It's in Maine. The only place that would make sense that still has ocean access.

You really didn't know it was that big? There were only two apartments on each floor.

I reckon it's in the upper midwest, bordering one of the Great Lakes, hence the coastline.

I must have just missed the episodes where that was shown. To be fair, over here you were lucky if they aired a season in the correct order and didn't decide to start over from the beginning in the middle of a season. And that's when they didn't just buy the rights to one season and air that endlessly.

I always figured it was a fancy apartment because of the spacious living room, not that it was even more spacious outside the living room. The kitchen seems rather small for such a big place, in retrospect.

there were probably half as many people on the planet when this show started.
