Some canadians come here for faster treatment

WHY WOULD I WANT TO PAY FOR CARLOS AND CARLITA'S TRIPLE BYPASS SURGERY

yeah, this is why i have doubts about public healthcare despite being a dem. it seems 50/50 amazing or complete shit and knowing american bureaucracy probably complete shit

Nigger, diarrhea isn't the only symptom of yellow fever. There were no other symptoms that made you suspicious?

I willl support public health care in america only if they exclude obese people.

But obese people also pay taxes

They should pay even more and get nothing. Fuck the obese, i fucking hate them.

I have the yellow fever and I've been fine all this time. Never went to the hospital btw.

>low appetite
>notice that my shit looks kinda reddish
>y-you're just imagining things bro
>shits quickly turn into bloody diarrhea
>incredibly painfully bowel cramps
>fever
>eventually start shitting only blood without any shit at all
>oh god help
>have to run to the restroom up to ten times an hour, shit copious amounts of blood
>feel like I'm dying
>go to hospital doc because it's the weekend, can't go to my local general physician
>dude berates me for coming so late in the evening
>dude inspects and fingers my ass
>"it's probably just hemorrhoids bro"
>"wtf but-"
>"it's hemorrhoids don't worry bro"
>doubt.jpg but o-okay
>go to general physician next Monday
>takes my blood
>results are in a couple of days later
>C-reactive protein value over 20 times higher than what is normal, indicating severe inflammation
>have my bowels checked
>it's Crohn's Disease
>mfw hemorrhoids bro

It works for small populations if we judge it by statistics, but it absolutely cannot be adequately scaled without a powerful and robust workforce.

One of the main issues plaguing healthcare that no one is talking about is the lack of qualified people. Even if they lower the bar for medical school admission, it does not absolutely guarantee that they'll graduate. This is what most Amerimutts (yes, I'm an Amerimutt, but I'm actually EDUMAKAYETD) don't understand about Affirmative Action. It may get you in the entrance, but it doesn't guarantee that you're leaving out the exit. If people aren't ready for medical school and cannot/will not study, they'll be chewed up and spat out.

Ironically, this is a fantastic setup. It makes sure that qualified doctors are coming out, but there are simply not enough of them. Even as an engineering undergrad, the chair of the MechE dept. said someone that stuck with me since orientation.
>There are 100s of engineering STUDENTS, but only 5 engineers every four/five years. Remember that.
Of the 16 people I got to know during my 1st year as a MechE major, only 3 of us got to the finish line without dropping out, switching majors, etc. I'd imagine it's the same for doctors. The bar of entry must be high, but the bar for leaving MUST be unbelievably and intensely higher; you are saving another person's life.

Despite being a fantastic setup from an academic/scholastic/career preparation point of view, it's not going to work for a gigantic population. Public healthcare won't work unless we're able to increase the amount of doctors/surgeons/specialists in our population and, even then, we're not even figuring the cost(s) of insurance.

Generally speaking, the system we have isn't broken, but it isn't working either. It's not terrible, but it does need fixing and I honestly don't see a solution in sight. Republicans, nor Dems, have a solution in sight for this shit.

I should also mention that the health of the population must be taken into consideration. Fringe cases aside, if the general health of the population is high, then the medical profession won't need to be absolutely stressed to the fucking edge.

>>go to general physician next Monday
I need to wait 4 months for an appt with physician

>i cut my finger
>hole looked like a vagina
>went to the hospital to get stitch
>okay.jpg
>a few days later I went to remove
>I came home and I see something strange
>line greater than 1cm inside my finger
>I had to remove it with a pliers
I can imagine the revolt of those who had scissors inside their bodies.

>yellow fever
fucking weebs man

...

Public healthcare isn't shitty. It's Brazil that's shitty.

OH CANADA

The doctor probably think you had nothing because diarrhea alone didn't it's not a disease indicator, idiot.
If you said you had other symptons, he would've obviously ask for exams.

> diarrhea alone is not a disease indicator
fixed.

shitting myself for 2 days if fine
when it goes pass 4 then it is at the point i'm worrying about

no, it's commom. after one week of diarrhea you can start getting worried.

>be me
>notice part of my tongue becomes smooth as plastic, all of the "polips" on a portion of my tongue have disappeared, feels pretty sensitive
>remember burning my tongue a few days ago, figure maybe its just that and leave it
>All goes back to normal
>Week later, brushing my tongue.. feels really sensitive
>3-4cm of my tongue look "raw" smooth as plastic and no polips/tastebuds
>freakout thinking about cancer that night
>try to go to doctor but wait times are long and I'm a wagecuck and can't leave work almost at all
>within days it's spread to almost half my tongue, I'm starting to lisp and my tongue is painful
>get an appointment finally for next week
>mysteriously by that time my tongue has almost completely healed exept the new buds look different
>doctor says she has no idea what it is,
>tell her about all the stuff I googled
>she whips out her smartphone and says she's gotta "make calls" (goes to google what I just said, I can tell she's lying)
>She says it's not cancer for sure, but that I need to do some blood tests
>everything comes back as normal
>they tell me to take pictures next time it happens
>still have this happening, but made an effort to have more iron/red meat in my diet on a hunch and it's gotten much better.
>doctors didn't do shit

>It's another "user pretends his free healthcare is bad" episode

yeah, i mean, our healthcare isn't exactly good, but it is not THIS bad either.
if you show up to a doctor any where in the world just because you had diarhea for 2 days he will tell you to fuck off.

>father recently deceased
>got very sick (I don't know how express properly in English. I believe that who already lost a beloved one now what I'm saying)
>stressful
>pain, tachycardia, hyperventilation and body strange sensation
>went to local clinic
>Clearly psychological, even I knew it
>doctor asks for a complete blood exam
>I do it in the same location
>healthier than I can suppose
>forwarded to an psychologist

You had bad lucky. The few times I needed medical assistance I was very well attended. The same with my mother, auntie, sister and etc. I'm from Rio, North Zone.

>yellow fever
Every day I thank God I wasn't born in Brasil.

My next travel destination will be wallabyland. Soon...

When you say MechE do you mean Mechatronic or Mechanical?

>our healthcare isn't exactly good, but it is not THIS bad either.

lmfao nigger, we have people literally dying in corridors in hospitals after being gutted open by doctors, the fuck are you talking about

>our healthcare isn't this bad
>public healthcare at that

LMFAO apologetic nigger, fuck outta here and go back to facebook

Maybe it's a regional thing, but here in São Paulo public healthcare isn't that bad. I've had a food poisoning some weeks ago. Went to an AMA, they treated through the day and send me back home when I was feeling better.

Northeast public healthcare must be hell, tho

Meanwhile the industry and corporations responsible for flooding the market and spending hundreds of millions in advertising cheap nasty junk food are given massive tax breaks.
Keep shifting the blame away from the fat cats and to the fat cunt, though. Moron.

>faint in America
>wake up in a hospital next to a bill
>$800 for ambulance, $200 for admission, $500 for first aid measures

mfw get faster and more reliable health care through public healthcare than most merimutts that pay like 15k a year in private health insurance.

Canadians will go anywhere for faster treatment. we have a two tier system even if the government wants to pretend otherwise. only difference is we have to spend our money out off country

Public care is shitty everywhere

>dat commyounism...
>GRUG ANGRY

I wish I could get some shitty public healthcare...

>it's Crohn's Disease
I know this pain bro.

You can always go to Cuba to enjoy their fine public health care where doctors have rusty surgical equipment and no medicine. Also having to operate by candlelight since the hospital only has electricity four hours of the day.

Do you get paid to lie, or do you do it for free?
