First for ARC Troopers.

So if some Clone Wars era droids have memories of Jedi saved in their memory banks I wonder if the Empire ever considered owning them to be illegal. I know they probably didn't actually do it for whatever reason (maybe regulating something like that would be impossible since there are probably billions of Clone Wars era droids and recordings lying around the galaxy. Think of that cantina owner on Lothal who owned a Clone helmet that could potentially have Jedi recordings on it with the Empire giving no fucks about him owning it). I would love if Luke trained his Jedi Academy using old B1 battle droids (especially if they were still sentient and walking around). Imagine Luke on Yavin's moon training a bunch of Jedi using a couple of B1s that had encounters with Jedi saved into their memory banks (this could even serve as pottery with the hunting down of Imperial objects in Bloodline), some B1s that shoot low powered blasters to train the Jedi on deflection, and a few Magnaguards to train them in lightsaber combat.

Speaking of, imagine if we got a comic about Luke's new Jedi academy with an arc that goes like this:
>Luke needs a better way to train his Jedi
>He goes hunting for old B1s with memories of Jedi in combat
>He asks Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda where they had battled to search for recordings of them too.
>He then goes on a search for the old holographic training droid from the Jedi Temple
>He then searches for Moralo Eval, who has been on the run since a few years after the creation of the Empire, so he can design a training area
>Then he has Aphra program the Jedi battle memories combined with knowledge from a few holocrons into the training droid so that it can emulate Jedi from the PT like Mace Windu
>He faces some moral issues because he's unsure if he should be training his students with Clone Wars era Jedi who were technically doing something wrong

I want to see what a few Lego shorts did as a joke and have Battle Droids re-purposed as labor droids all throughout the galaxy.

So do you guys think we will get another Darth Maul Arch on par with the one in clone wars?
I was a huge fan of a bunch of sith fighting each other in the middle of war and just being generally petty.

...

We already know Season 3 is all about Maul, Thrawn and Mando stuff.

Reaction images galore from that comic

Probably not on the same level, Maul's still around but he doesn't have the means to wage a mini-war against Sidious.

It's pretty much a given we'll see him fight Vader, though.

Daily reminder Sabine is best waifu

Does anyone know where I can find a download of Yoda Chronicles?

So what are the chances that Maz will show up in Rebels now that that girl from Celebration gave Filoni the idea?

We had a vote.
She isn't.

so only a third of it will be interesting, huh?

>So do you guys think we will get another Darth Maul Arch on par with the one in clone wars?
I hope not, that whole thing was a giant, boring waste of time, and brought back a character that had no reason to be around.

>So do you guys think we will get another Darth Maul Arch on par with the one in clone wars?

An arc? No. Rebels is infamous for not doing story arcs. But episodes that are as good? Possibly. If it gives us more exposition into the Dark Side and the Force in general.

>Maul's still around but he doesn't have the means to wage a mini-war against Sidious.

Right now. I wouldn't say it's entirely impossible that there aren't Mandos out there who are still loyal to him. Though, admittedly, that's only because we don't know the retails of the Seige of Mandalore. So if there are some Maul loyalists around, there is a chance they may rally to him.

>It's pretty much a given we'll see him fight Vader, though.

I really wanna see this. Even though, as other anons in previous threads have mentioned, that there's no real dramatic tension between the two.

And Bendu stuff

I think if he still had any loyal minions we'd have seen them by now. We've seen a clip where he seems to be using Mandalorian droids, but no sign of any actual Mandalorians.

So is the Holonet just a gubment-run news distributor, or is it actually a Galaxy-wide internet equivalent? EU never seemed to come to a consensus on this and the only mention I've seen of it in nucanon is in Freemakers where they download bootleg Neimodian translator software into ROGR

Not just any Mandalorian droids either, he's using "WELCOME TO MANDALORE :)" droids. That's how hard he's fallen.

>Freemakers
>canon
Yeeeeeeeeeaaah...

That aside, from Rebels it seems to be mostly a government run news source, though I'm sure it probably has other applications and there probably are ways of getting illegal shit through the holonet if you know how.

>I think if he still had any loyal minions we'd have seen them by now.

I can see the sense in that. But I don't think that completely rules it out.

>We've seen a clip where he seems to be using Mandalorian droids,

Yes, in an abandoned Mandalorian base.

>but no sign of any actual Mandalorians.

Because they're probably all on Mandalore, which he likely can't get to very easily on account of how much he sticks out.

So Snoke is the Emperor, right?

Not even a little bit likely.

He's a cockroach that had the fortune to outlive all his competitors.

There's the HoloNet, which I guess is the internet, and there's the HoloNet News, which is what I guess to be the state sponsored news network.

>>Freemakers
>>canon
It is canon. The creator and Pablo said that Lego stuff is paraphrased canon.

>Not even a little bit likely.
how so?

Cause it'd be too stupid

My point was that it was the only mention I'd seen in SW media post-buyout/canon wipe, not that I literally thought it was canon.

>how so?

He's ten feet tall.

Because Sheev died and the clone bullshit isn't happening again.

>paraphrased canon
What in the world of newage bullshit doublespeak is this supposed to mean?

Alternative question, if there IS a galaxy-wide internet, how bad do you think the sithposting is over at 4Chiss?

The boards would move too fast. It'd be more akin to a top-rated twitch chat than even present day Sup Forums. You'd have to be augmented or highly skilled in the force to even parse what was going on, let alone hold conversation.

There would actually be multiple clones of it actually that are dedicated to each species. Sort of like 8-chan, that one Russian version of Sup Forums, and the 'other' chans.

Yay, it thinks that my post is spam

>Because Sheev died
Is Maul can survive being cut in half and falling down a bottomless pit, I see no reason why the Emperor, not cut in half and being a hell of a lot more powerful couldn't.

I personally would just want to see some Battle Droids seeing use during the Rebellion. Kinda like when Vader had a small army of them at his command to do his black ops.

He kind of exploded.

Clone Wars isn't really canon to the films.

Maul's resurrection was a toy marketing scheme disguised as a treat for fans.

Source?

The Sith are gone because The Emperor and Vader are dead. That's really what it comes down to.

You may disagree with Maul's return, but that doesn't make you right about canon.

Rather than going through the entire explanation on what the canon is, they give you the summarized version

Example
>Palpatine was a sith lord that manipulated the Jedi into fighting a galaxy wide war for him in order to weaken the Jedi, and cement his rule when he would eventually take over and reveal himself

Paraphrased
>Palp was a skeevy Sheevy that tricked Jedi.

My husbando reporting in

>Maul's resurrection was a toy marketing scheme disguised as a treat for fans.
I love how people say "it was all to sell toys!" but never check if the thing they're talking about actually produced any toys.

The Maul arc of TCW only produced one action figure, and it was a store exclusive.

You have awful taste in husbandos

Or as great a taste as Padme

Pick one.

I don't think it's a toy making scheme.
I think that Filoni had a hard on for Maul, and did to him what EUfags did to Boba Fett years ago.

Best husbando reporting in

No no, he used Force Teleport to teleport to a waiting shuttle. By huge coincidence, it was the one Luke hijacked. He quietly hid in the cargo hold and wandered around Endor for a while.

The general idea is canon but not all the silly little jokes or Lego actions. The Kybersaber is canon but Graballa never wore a funny party hat as a joke and the Freemakers never built ships using Lego pieces.

I'm just imagining the party going on in Endor and a hooded Emperor laughing in the distance

Maul's return wasn't Filoni's idea, it was Lucas's.

makes as much sense as Maul's escape.

>tweet about background characters in Lego TFA
>proof that Freemaker Adventures is canon
Uh...

Filoni actually hated the idea. George insisted upon it, probably regretting his decision to kill him in 1999. Filoni was pretty clear that characters like Inky wont be returning like Maul did. Filoni just made an incredible lemonade with the lemons he was given.

Filoni was also planning on killing Maul in his single Rebels episode, but as you know, plans changed. Maul wont survive Season 3, I'm calling that now. Filoni wants Maul wrapped up as much as we do.

And as other Anons said, basically no toys came from Maul. No Spider-Maul, no Claw-Legs Maul, no Darksaber Maul, nothing. So it really wasn't money. Lucas just wanted to right his wrongs, and Filoni made a good story out of it.

I will agree, even though anakin is my husbando, you got the best

I choose anakin

He was at the party, he disguised himself as one of the Prunefaces and nobody noticed.

>it was Lucas's
that some how makes it even worse.

>Lucas just cannot stop raping his own movies

The man has to be stopped.

Maul was brought back way before TCW. Think it was one of the old cannon comics where Vader found him alive somewhere, even had robo-legs and everything.

Only solid thing I remember is Vader beat him by stabbing his lightsaber through himself in order to get the jump on Maul, was pretty brutal.

Maul fell down a pit. Sheev fell down an exhaust vent and got burned. And Cylo isn't around to fish him out and hook him into vaderSuit Mk. II

The absolute M A D M A N

How much did he hry paid for snagging Han for the Empire?

>Maul fell down a pit.
while cut in half

But see the pit didn't have insta-kill, exploding space juice at the bottom. So he could crawl to the nearest door and worm out. Because lightsabers cauterize wounds pretty good. Crawl out, get some bacta, and he could walk around on his hands like that douche character from Sausage Party.

Not enough to not still be hanging with Jabba and his crew, it seems.

Who needs bacta when you have hate

Battlefront is canon!

>Not enough to not still be hanging with Jabba and his crew, it seems.

That or Bobba doesn't know how to manage his money wisely.

You're thinking of Old Wounds, which did inspire Maul's TCW look but that comic was never actually canon, even in the old EU. It was always considered Infinities.

It was also unrelated to another comic where a group of dark side cultists basically made a Force-clone of Maul. That one was considered canon, though.

Can't wait for Canon Boba to be a huge disappointment when compared to Jango.

To be honest, I think you'd either have to be crazy or stupid to take that job. I mean, if you bagged Han Solo, you'd pretty much have the entire Rebel Alliance chasing after you. What do you do then? The Empire isn't gonna fucking help you, you don't work for them. And Jabba doesn't give a fuck about you either. Is the money really worth it?

He already is, he's gotten his ass kicked by blind people twice so far.

so, you enver saw Return of the Jedi huh?

>Gets a shit ton of creds from the Empire job
>Gonna get tons more once he drops Han off to Jabba
>Probably blew it all on death sticks and Twi'lek whores before he even got to Tattooine
>Does the same with Jabba's money
>Probably in tons of debt by the time of Return
>didn't fall into the sarlaac like a bitch, instead made a quick plan to fake his death
>now patrols the galaxy as Dobba Lette, mustachioed bounty hunter and strong man.

I was talking about him in Legends, you know, where all the Mandofags came from?

Han wasn't really a part of the Rebellion at that point. They were sad to see him about to leave on Hoth, sure, but it wasn't like he was committed to their cause. He was still looking after his own skin.

Besides, Han had the bounty from Jabba on his head already. Any hunter worth their salt would leap at the chance to get a big Empire bonus on top of the big payday from Ol' Slug Fave

Give him a nice pimp cape to go with that pimp 'stache, and we're golden

>I was talking about him in Legends

>Can't wait for Canon Boba to be a huge disappointment

I'm confused.

I miss his Jaster Mareel persona. Never really was all that big on him being a Jango clone, but not enough to go full retard about it like some people out there

Maybe he means compared to EU Jango?

of course, even if that is the case, Jedi already shows that Boba is a gigantic disappointment.

Give him Lando's cape and we're fucking platinum.

Didn't you know that Lego is the MOST canon? Turns out midi-chlorians are the bricks on which the galaxy is built.

When George saw this he was like, "SHIT! I didn't even think of that and it's so obvious! That's it, lads, I retire! You're all being sold to Disney!"

another daily reminder
her and ezra fuck with the armor on

Corellian Sup Forums then. Or something else small enough to not be moving at fifty gazillion posts a second

You grossly misinterpreted what he's saying.

That's pretty hot. If S3 doesn't have Sabine give Ezra a blowjob I'm dropping this show.

>I really wanna see this. Even though, as other anons in previous threads have mentioned, that there's no real dramatic tension between the two.

I think they could make some dramatic tension, if they wanted to. It's no Obi Wan vs. Maul, but Anakin (especially post-RotS Anakin) must have at some point wondered what would've happened if Qui-Gon had lived to train him instead.

I mean, Qui-Gon was supposed to be the more "grey" kind of Jedi, right? Maybe he would've been more open to Anakin's relationship with Padme. Maybe Anakin could've confided in him. I could easily see Anakin constructing some elaborate fantasy where everything goes right because Qui-Gon survived Naboo, which gives a Maul vs. Vader confrontation plenty of dramatic weight.

R0-GR was a pretty extreme example since I don't think the CIS was recycling it's droids like that. Maybe in some cases, but lightsaber damage is a bit extreme. Not like a blaster bolt where you can replace some burned out bits. They tend to create inch or wide lines of burned and fused metal slicing across the droid.

Though I suppose you might save the brains if they're expensive enough. of course memory wipes are pretty common for droids, and since you do it because you're worried about them developing personalities or gaining unwanted traits you'd do it to battle droids fairly often. Right?

Honestly though I'd be more surprised about people not having basic holo recordings of Jedi visits to planets during the war. Cham obviously has some which Hera watched, though they were illegal. Local planetary leaders you'd think would make a huge amount of pomp and circumstance and have images of them shaking hands with Jedi. During the war you'd try to share these to the populace. "Don't worry, your glorious leaders now have the support of the Jedi! Your safety is guaranteed!" Other PR propaganda bullshit. Even with 10,000 Jedi the fact they were running the war as generals and visiting all these planets (so visiting more than they would normally as just peacekeepers and in a far more high profile capacity) should make it impossible for people to NOT have seen the Jedi in action. I don't know how the early Empire got all this footage scrubbed so fast. Sheev took time to get his fully galaxy wide military up and running with Stormtrooper garrisons patrolling every world.

I mean it's canon that the footage is mostly gone because it was declared illegal. I can't argue that. Still seems odd and unlikely.

What are the chances that Sabine starts to show an interest in Ezra's broody, bad-boy Sithness?

>That's pretty hot.
Well yeah, that armor isn't air conditioned. Mando full body metal condoms are very weird but it's cultural so I guess I'm le problematic.

Superlasers can't penetrate rigid mantles

Anyone gonna storytime Star Wars 22?

80%, but she will also try to put some sense into him.

>Han keeps getting holovids every couple years from a crazy cousin trying to redpill him on the Death Star
fund it

I doubt Vader even remember Qui-gon, Obi-wan clearly didn't.

The EU was chock full of Sith using the power of the Dark Side and Sith Sorcery™ to survive shit that should have destroyed them. TCW Maul is simply the first canon example of exactly that.

is more literally true than may first be supposed.

So did the Empire just get really good at building Death Stars, or was the second one already being built when the first one was finished?

If so why does it seem like no one on the first one knew about the second one?

>it was the Bothans
>Noghri killed GA Thrawn

>Qui-Gon was supposed to be the more "grey" kind of Jedi, right?
Exactly the opposite. Qui-Gon was more about serving the Force than he was about serving the Senate and participating in Council politics.

Terrible. Especially because you know someone will make droids for the purpose of specifically pissing off people
>I am S-H17, my programming requires me to post irrational messages to incite organics into fits of irrational emotion for the sheer joy of my master.
>On a personal note, I'm starting to enjoy it as well
>Pardon me but it has been 27.3 cycles. My post-limit has been lifted, and I must Basic a few more 'Em Eighties'
