There is no gender swap dimenion. That would be too cliche.

There's every kind of dimension regardless of cliche, if it's a possibility it's there, I know technically that's not how infinity works but this isn't exactly hard sci-fi.

Yeah, a couple of dimensions he got lucky in the way needed for them to replace the originals while having a consistent timeline and physical laws/variables.

I thought that was more of a technological hindrance that prevent him from doing that, thus getting them out of the current danger without similarly alleviating future threats. A plot device, in short.

Because things stay pretty similar. A couple of deaths here, a different fashion statement there, an ancestor evolved a bit differently there. A world where one person was born female as a result of a different sperm getting to an egg makes sense. A world where everybody is a different gender yet they're all the same person anyway just isn't how Justin does things.
