Good question. Back then people were more social (in person) Internet made people less social (in person) But the Internet makes contact easier and that balances it out in my opinion.

Reminder that Enoch Powell travelled back in time to save Britain and failed
Noticing that nothing in the future had changed, his son, Nigel Farage travelled back in time with improved tactics and succeeded where his father had failed

This is the painting that converted Peter to Anglicanism btw.
It's just so impassioned, so right and so well spoken. He was warning us before we (I) was even born.
This speech should have been shared before the referendum to show people that it isn't a new idea to leave the EU. It isn't just a bunch of racists and idiots. It's intellectuals and proud Brits.
I truly recommend that absolutely everybody watch this. It's really good.
I wish we all still spoke that way. It's a bit autistic but it's true England.
Wyatt Rogers
First for Jade Jones getting blacked tonight.

Uh, thanks I guess.

>50% of graduates who paid £9,000 a year are back living with their parents >The report’s findings revealed that 47 percent of students were living with their parents seven months after graduating.
This is completely retarded. It takes several years to save up for a mortgage even with a well paying job. What do people expect? Plus, not everyone wants to rent while they could save up instead.
Cooper Russell
Is that how you say it's a mutual feeling in kraut-tongue?

let me know what you think generally after a bit of a read, obviously I don't expect you to chew up the whole thing and post an essay

Just highlighting this video and (you)ing myself. It's a good watch.
Btw lads, I'm still mad that 'Remain' was the top option on the ballot. They should have been side by side.
Wyatt Sullivan
In that case, Jeder Tritt ein Deutsche.
Kayden Powell
You know you are already basically Brits, right?
Jason Jenkins
So wait, it's now been confirmed that young voters had a (relatively) high turnout at the referendum.
Does that also mean they were less one sided towards remain than previously thought?
Michael Reed
Amazing. Never heard of this guy before
Joshua Edwards
Depends...
Jeremiah Johnson
>Btw lads, I'm still mad that 'Remain' was the top option on the ballot. They should have been side by side. Why even care? We won.

I really enjoyed it.

I literally cannot watch some old speeches when accompanied by those music tracks. Adolf Hitler's 'Never lose faith' destroys me.

To the guy in the last thread who asked about the Navy.
I was a submariner and it was the most un-pc workplace I've ever been in. Women were coming in just as I left so I fear once they get into the JRs Mess it will ruin the banter.
In the submarines it is very white. There's a few black guys but they are all lads. Surface fleet you get a lot of the useless ones from St Vincent and places. Fijians are sound though.
Career wise I don't think its a place to do the full time any more, the manning can get really bad and while you are on crew you are worked like a dog. I pulled 100+ hour work weeks for 6 months straight and it was just not sustainable.
Luis Gutierrez
>Who here /distrustsauthority/ muh freedom is literally a cornerstone of our identity.
>mfw yuropoors still haven't figured out telling us what to do doesn't work after centuries

I agree. Although I think while the internet's driven a lot of the conversation online, that it's also somehow degraded it in some way.
We're now more a generation of political dilettantes than we used to be.

>Who here /distrustsauthority/ >tfw grew up an edgy 'fuck everyone' anti-authoritarian >tfw driving yourself nuts trying to understand the difference between healthy authority and crooks masquerading as such

Know much about being a reserve?
Eli Moore
I've come to crave proper authority so long as it actually conforms to my belief.
However, on an immediate level I do have an issue with authority. Bosses and the like. I'd be a rubbish soldier, I'd start yelling back at the drill sergeant to shut his cunt mouth. I hate that stupid shit.
Jason Robinson
No, I did full time, I know the ones who joined as reserve only did a really short phase 1 I think it was about 4 weeks. What branch are you considering? I'll tell you if its shit.

What the fuck is it about people these days that can't seem to accept that if you enjoy sticking things in your arse then you're a bit gay. It's like they think that might never want to take it to the next step. I'm not a bloody Puritan but my friends now think me so simply because I told them an inconvenient truth. At this point I dare not say anything in the future that might cause them to rethink there normie ideas as critical thinking is lost on them.
How do any of you deal when talking to people and trying to tell them that other views exist without seeming like a cunt?
Why the fuck did you tell your mates you stick things up your arse?
Michael Miller
Cheers lads. Just wanted to share the feeling. It's one of the most heartfelt and beautiful speeches I think I've ever heard. Not full of numbers or bullshit buzzwords. Just personal feeling and emotion.
The one thing we have on our side is that our 'propaganda' is much more powerful, on a personal level, than anything the left can produce. And that, in my opinion, is because it's all based on true humanity. The way everybody really feels, deep down. Also it's all based on fact, whereas the left base everything on the ideal future.
'In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act' - Orwell
I think we're at that point now and I think people are waking up. Not en masse, yet, but they are.
Jack Young
Just ignore the fucking topic completely. I refuse to debate or affiliate myself with queers of any kind and have come to hate them in all honesty.
Robert Ortiz
Dunno if you should be telling people you're a bit gay and sticking things up ur arse mate
Levi Wood
If you don't have some knowledge of Old English, Welsh or Gaelic then you're not a true Brit. What's stopping you from learning these languages
>inb4 they're meme languages - and have no use for them They're beautiful languages that represent the culture and history of our great nation. That, and they allow you to understand the society and history of our nation much better - and in new perspectives; furthermore, it allows you to think in new ways.
>inb4 I don't have the time It only takes a couple of hours every week to learn just one of these languages
>inb4 fag Go back to Trump Gen if you thinking learning languages - even dead languages - are for fags or 'nerds'.
Lads, what can we do to preserve our culture? Even the smallest things.
>Stricter Sunday trading laws
>No 24/7 businesses
>Limit, and even decrease city sizes
>No grid-system cities
>A more traditional House of Lords with heritage, but still powerless
>Remove devolution
>Tiny immigration
>Incentives for minorities living in ghettos to move elsewhere in the country
>Enforced freedom of speech in Universities
>More powerful monarch
>Conscription
>Distance from America
>GET RID OF FUCKING CARS
>Single international sports teams, no England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, JUST Britain

I used to be the same way, if anyone told me what to do under any circumstances I'd sperg the fuck out until I got removed. Nowadays I look back and wish I'd had someone who could slap me down and turn all that energy toward something useful.
Easton Fisher
How many lefties do you think watch speeches and cry or feel riled up? I'm going to estimate at zero.
Because their ideology is all based on bullshit dreams rather than hard facts. It's based on an idealist utopian future rather than hard truths and human perspective.
Nicholas Williams

This needs to happen. The provinces would moan for a bit but it would do wonders for national unity in the long run.
Nathaniel Powell
I don't but one of them was trying to say he wasn't bisexual for liking futa and I tried to tell him why I thought he was. The sticking stuff up your arse bit happened over the course of the convo. Can say with all honesty I have never had myself.

We will accept white protestant refugees.
Jordan Carter
Completely agree. You'll get some hate here for having that view since it seems a lot of conservatives and 'fascists' love the idea of being controlled.
I'm bad with control structures because I always feel I could run it better. That's a good trait IMO desu.
