Justin Bieber.

Honestly BC has been used extensively for gloomy settings for at least 20 years
Also that late nite variety show they had that got Candy, Short, Moranis, and all the other recognizable Canadians you don't know they're names like Dave Thomas
Also Colin McArie

shitloads of movies are shot in canada since it's cheaper than the US but looks similar. they're never set in canada though because americans are self centered.

No, we just know we're better

Filming locations.

The Goose, Drake, and this qtpie

>loves guns
She's ours

orphan black

Trailer Park Boys

la femme nikita, aka the primal kino.

This. The small town feel is universal even if the details are rural Ontario. It needs to get picked up by larger production/distribution company or at least made available here in states in a form other than shitty quality webrip torrents. Boomtown...

>Drake is the biggest musician to ever come out of Canada

For what?
Having a piece of shit industry you denounce every day?

tax credits and grants whaaaaat

We gave you based Goose

I'm a good man

>too good to even film in their own country

All three of which are wildly popular in America. It isn't our fault you yanks love shitty music.

YOUR WELCOME

Corner Gas

>cheaper than the US but looks similar.
Toronto, sure. It's the perfect stand in for boring grey city, but vancouver is "europe" in a lot of movies too, again because it's cheaper to film there than to fly a crew to europe.

Honorary Burger tbqh.

Most sci fi tv shows are filmed here.

Thanks canada.

Pam Anderson
Though not her tits

this, and only this

>thinks Canadians don't love guns

There is probably more gun owners per capita in Canada than US. You just have more fanatics that take it to the max.

Nathan Fielder

Canada done the sets for X-Files and that.

Isn't practically everything filmed in Quebec?

I hate this show so much. It's not funny, and it was constantly praised at the time, and was always on TV. I really hated it.

It's got a comfy appeal to it, but ya, not really funny at all.

So weird watching the first one and seeing the suburb stylings of southern Ontario. Too bad about the second one. The third was interesting, I liked having a Canadian colonial horror film.

Trailer park boys and kids in the hall

can't believe nobody posted these 2

Because Bob and Dave are hosers eh

I thought the second one was very good.

Tons of stuff gets filmed there because filming in the US is ridiculously expensive for (((some))) reason.

Trailer Park Boys, Evangeline Lilly that's pretty much it.

Still makes me lol that Degrassi had to be censored for American viewers

Yeah, true it wasn't that bad. I just like the third due to the setting more.

Mr Dress-up
The Friendly Giant

Heads-up: The guy's just a yuropoor masquerading

Rick Moranis

I don't think you can relate to it unless you live in the prairies
I found it hilarious

...

to be fair though, canada has never been relevant. France was once a mighty empire that now is barely stronger then Canada

That's a really old meme, bud.

Rick Mercer/This Hour has 22 Minutes

Canadian soldiers were feared in both world wars whereas Americans pretend they did everything

oh so the tying run is on the fucking plate soooooooooo fuckiong good okay

>There is probably more gun owners per capita in Canada than US.
My guns own gun's.
