stay hydrated edition

I'll post in your thread.

What's for dinner, lads? For me it's meatballs and pasta.

>What's for dinner
Stew.
>meatballs and pasta
Sounds tasty, make sure you post a review afterwards.

Rice, cabbage and fish.

I want to cum on Poi's semi erect Irish cock!

>religion in schools
>the environment
Maybe I should just turn off the news now.

The fuck is wrong with you, lad?

Maybe you should get laid anime queer

Was Ray Kennedy back again?

Liver dumblings with spätzels
The chosen man's food

DumPlings

>Was Ray Kennedy back again
No, the two girls again. Keelin was on a big boat in Galway along with George Lee.

Update:Liver dumplings are vile and disgusting,Germany was a mistake

>Keelin was on a big boat in Galway
Now I'm interested. Tell me more.

Same except I just have tomato sauce

>the environment
What's wrong with talking about the environment? You're not a townie, are you?

>Liver dumplings are vile and disgusting
Well it was an experience at least and now you know not to eat them again.
>Germany was a mistake
Which European countries are you favourite? Aside from Ireland that is, I know you hate us.
What countries do Luxembourgish people typically like?

>Tell me more
George was explaining to the Irish public about the economic benefits of having a large maritime navy, and then he got down on one knee and said something to Keelin about wanting to travel the seven seas.
May be confusing it with a dream I had the other night though...

What are the best ramen brands I can get in Tesco?

>George was explaining to the Irish public about the economic benefits of having a large maritime navy

>What's wrong with talking about the environment
It just felt like a "we're all really evil people" lecture. Also I generally hate all these scientific article written by like two students in Moneygall or wherever. Research about everything under the sun, "bottled water causes cancer, eating any food at all causes cancer" and so on.
I do care about the environment though, as a rural dweller, and believe we need to invest much more in protecting it and having more renewables, electric cars, protecting endangered species and so on.
>a townie
Rude. I could scream right now and no one would hear a thing, I'm that isolated.

>It just felt like a "we're all really evil people" lecture
Ah we are though.

>I know you hate us.
Ara Poi,I adore the Irish people,I guess I like the Dutch,Flemish and Czechs the best,my all-time enemies are Monacans and Walloons
And who are your favourites?

>Monacans
Is it the casinos or the racing?

>Monacans
Why desu? Some sort of wealthy people competition?
>who are your favourites
Not sure to be honest. Irish people probably have a slight fondness for the likes of Scotland (though perhaps wrongly so) and France.
I've met some nice enough people from France, Denmark and Sweden I guess.
Culture-wise I probably don't know enough about many of them and most Europeans went around the world butchering and enslaving everyone they found so that's probably not something to admire.

>Ah we are though
No no, only the non-SF voters.

>Is it the casinos or the racing?
Childhood trauma like your ping pong story, spent many summer days in Monaco and I have grown to despise them and their country(well not as if any native Monacans would even exist these days)
They have a nice aquarium though
Czechs,Slovenes and Slovaks are a cute,Belarusians too, they dindu nuffin bad in their history
>Scotland
Does that also go for Wales and the Isle of Man?

>spent many summer days in Monaco
Jesus, just how rich are you?

>Does that also go for Wales and the Isle of Man
Wales to a lesser degree. The Isle of Man I think people forget exists most of the time, might just be me though.

>Childhood trauma like your ping pong story
But I don't blame the Italians for that.
>They have a nice aquarium though
Aquariums are nice desu.

>But I don't blame the Italians for that.
You should though.

If Germany didn't want Italy ruining their plans of world domination then Hitler shouldn't have ruined Mussolini's ideology of fascism for everyone.

Not rich enough to buy 5 euro 250 ml water bottles in their shitty little kiosques they have sprinkled around town
It should be a crime to ask that much just for some stupid water in a country where the average temperature in summer is 40 degrees with a high chance of sunburn
AND THEIR SOLDIERS LOOK SILLY
>might just be me though.
What ethnicity do they belong to?
Are they Gaels or just regular Celts?
>But I don't blame the Italians for that.
I'm not as good of a person as you then

>Are they Gaels or just regular Celts
No idea, though the Manx language is from the same family as Irish I believe.

>What ethnicity do they belong to?
It's said the Manx were originally Brythonic but got Gael'd hard in the first millennium like the Picts. They spoke old Irish until the English started making heavy contact with them and their language became diluted with elements of English. As contact between Gaelic speakers and the island became less frequent the language started to die off in favour of English.

>George was explaining to the Irish public about the economic benefits of having a large maritime navy, and then he got down on one knee and said something to Keelin about wanting to travel the seven seas
I don't appreciate your untruth telling. I had to check the player to find out it was something about fish eating plastics.
>Celtic Explorer
I was on that ship before.

>I had to check the player
Can't believe you wouldn't trust my word. Very hurt by this, might even have to have a good scream and a cry.
>was on that ship before
It's some type of research vessel I believe? Did you explore her innards?

well these threads aren't dead

It's called a Discord.

Fuck off with your shitty fucking discord shit, I've told you so many times already why it's an atrocious idea.

You're not the same person, correct?

Correct, different people.

It was supposed to be a ruse to make it seems like person commenting on us being marbh was wrong as we were all actually really active on Discord or some other community they weren't a part of, thus making them feel bad and discouraging them from making shitty posts such as the one they made in the future.
Well done for ruining it and don't get excited because someone made a post about something that you know doesn't exist.
Also put your avatar back on.

>Can't believe you wouldn't trust my word
Well it seems I was right not to.

>Did you explore her innards?
Indeed. It's been many years but I remember being in the room with all the caught fish.

>Also put your avatar back on.
Who do you think that is?

>seems I was right not to
I just got mixed up desu. My word is usually reliable the other 99 times.
>remember being in the room with all the caught fish
I presume there weren't any fish on board and thus you never got the opportunity to steal some by hiding them in your pants in order to smuggle them off the ship?

Well if that's the case, you should have phrased it less ambiguously. I assumed it was a proposal rather than an implication.

>I presume there weren't any fish on board and thus you never got the opportunity to steal some by hiding them in your pants in order to smuggle them off the ship?
What?

>to steal some by hiding them in your pants in order to smuggle them off the ship?
>girls in his group staring at his massive buldge
>it's actually a sea bass

>assumed it was a proposal rather than an implication
It's alright, I forgive your mistake college-kun. Do you still post here regularly? How's life?

>What
W-what...? I didn't say anything strange, perfectly natural thing to do when around loads of fish...

>girls in his group staring at his massive buldge
Never thought of that, an added bonus definitely.

>the Young Offenders
Further glorification of knacker culture at the expense of the taxpayer.

>the Young Offenders
Keep seeing constant ads for this on the RTÉ News app. Get the feeling I don't want to know what it's about?

I do still post here regularly, but usually not under any avatars, firstly as I know that some people dislike me and also because I'm not the only one who posts Kokichi and Lain. Life's been slowly but surely getting better, I suppose- there's not much happening but I'm getting fit and improving my guitar skills.

Literally knacker propaganda. No other way to describe it.

>perfectly natural thing to do when around loads of fish
I worry about you sometimes.

>I'm not the only one who posts Kokichi
Indeed, that would be me.
>Life's been slowly but surely getting better
>I'm getting fit and improving my guitar skills
Sounds great desu. You've a long life ahead of you so I don't think a year or two out would do too much harm, may even be a good thing.

>Literally knacker propaganda
Have you or anyone you know ever had any really bad run ins with a knacker?

Where did you find the episodes?
Was only able to find one on their Youtube channel

>Girl tries to feel the bulge with the back of her hand unnoticed
>Octopus flops through his trouser legs on the metal floor of the ship
>tour guide tackles him on the floor
>crustaceans start pinching his gherkin

>Where did you find the episodes?
Is it on the player app?

>I worry about you sometimes
Lying is a non non, and if you are to worry either do it all of the time or none of the time.

>Girl tries to feel the bulge with the back of her hand
That's way too lewd and direct.
>his gherkin
I've forgotten what this word means again...

>Have you or anyone you know ever had any really bad run ins with a knacker?
It's possible to have a good run-in with a knacker?

But yes, really bad run-ins with knackers were commonplace where I grew up. The worst I got was a couple of light assaults when I was of school-going age. But I knew people who suffered far more seriously at the hands of knackers.

>12 posters
What a horrible 2018.

Doesn't look like it,maybe because it's being produced by the BBC?

>Way too direct
If only you knew my dearest Poi
>Gherkin
It's a pickle and I'm using it as metonymy for his no-no parts

>It's possible to have a good run-in with a knacker
Not in the modern age I imagine. I've heard some older people say that long go the local knackers were fairly trustworthy or whatever but now "bad ones" have moved in or something like that.
>worst I got was a couple of light assaults when I was of school-going age
Christ, that doesn't sound good. They just kind of surrounded you/ye or they actually physically caused harm?
Assume the guards weren't much use in these cases?

>If only you knew my dearest Poi
I feel like some sort of innocent pure child now, though I'm not sure if that is really true.
>a pickle
Shall try to remember this.

Bertie is on CBL tonight I think, but it is prerecorded maybe because the audience of young liberal people would try and murder him?

>four posts in a row
Have I broken a thread etiquette rule?

>I've heard some older people say that long go the local knackers were fairly trustworthy or whatever but now "bad ones" have moved in or something like that.
I'm not talking specifically about Travellers, by the way.

>They just kind of surrounded you/ye or they actually physically caused harm?
On both occasions I was taken by surprise by one lad (different lad each time), but his "entourage" wasn't that far away so there was little I could do. They always seem to travel in packs.

> They just kind of surrounded you/ye or they actually physically caused harm?
Physical harm, but at least it wasn't serious. Just sore and humiliating.

>Assume the guards weren't much use in these cases?
Nah, not serious enough. Also Gardaí in my area were useless for dealing with knackers. It wasn't entirely their fault though - it is almost impossible to get a conviction against a knacker for these sort of things, so they knew it would be a waste of time going after them.

Tried watching the 2nd episode of the Young Offenders
Protagonist is in love with a black girl
Isn't this a crime in Ireland?
Well innocent pure children don't like getting their blood sucked out of them
Very ashamed of you

>Protagonist is in love with a black girl
>Isn't this a crime in Ireland?
Just the BBC being the BBC.

>But yes, really bad run-ins with knackers were commonplace where I grew up. The worst I got was a couple of light assaults when I was of school-going age. But I knew people who suffered far more seriously at the hands of knackers.
Jesus Christ I was memeing before. Was where you grew up considered especially dangerous/knackerish compared to other villages in the area?

>I've heard some older people say that long go the local knackers were fairly trustworthy or whatever but now "bad ones" have moved in or something like that
In the old days knackers used to do odd jobs like take away dead horses (hence them being called knackers) and whatnot.

>British Broadcasting Corporation
>Big Black Cock

Lot of young people in this audience.

>not talking specifically about Travellers
Oh right, that's what I thought we were discussing. General knacker culture, I understand now.
>Physical harm
>not serious enough
This would annoy the shit out of me. I can't tolerate scum like that. Thankfully I haven't had any real runins but I sympathise greatly with anyone who has.
>Gardaí in my area were useless for dealing with knackers
That seems to be the case in most areas, or at least people make it sound like that is the case quite often.
>humiliating
I'm sure it isn't that small desu, don't worry...

>Physical harm, but at least it wasn't serious. Just sore and humiliating.
Very sorry to hear that, were you on your own?
Some friends who live in town have told me that we have some sort of knackers now too called "Luxos",they seem to be less criminal and less violent though, and more prone to the "Nouveau Riche" lifestyle

>used to do odd jobs like take away dead horses and whatnot
Indeed, I wonder what changed. Now it's robbing, drugs and social welfare it seems.

yOUR MOM

>Was where you grew up considered especially dangerous/knackerish compared to other villages in the area?
Not the area I grew up in, no. Both of these incidents took place where I went to secondary school.

>That seems to be the case in most areas, or at least people make it sound like that is the case quite often.
It's primarily a fault in the justice system rather than an exclusively an issue with the Gardaí. They know from experience that they won't get a conviction.

>Very sorry to hear that, were you on your own?
Yes. Hopefully this as been enlightening as to why I hate knackers so much.

Of course it is your good right to keep it to yourself but would you mind sharing some details on what happened?
Might help us to relate to the situation you were in.
Did you tell anyone?
Don't have to answer though

>Both of these incidents took place where I went to secondary school
Did you hang around there much outside of school or was this during lunch?
>Hopefully this as been enlightening as to why I hate knackers so much
I don't think anyone needs much of a reason to hate them desu.

>It's primarily a fault in the justice system
I don't pay much attention to the justice system but would you be one of the people clamoring for less lenient sentences and such?

Angry atheist on CBL discussing Pope's visit.

Come on everyone! If we don't believe in the Pope, he can't visit us!

>Of course it is your good right to keep it to yourself but would you mind sharing some details on what happened?
Eh, I'd rather not. Just physical assault, at the level where you don't need to go to a doctor and the pain subsides after a few days.

>Did you tell anyone?
The first time I told my parents, but the second time no.

>Did you hang around there much outside of school or was this during lunch?
Yeah. It's where most my friends lived, so I spent quite a bit of time there even outside of school. So while I didn't technically grow up there, it is where I spent a lot of my youth.

>would you be one of the people clamoring for less lenient sentences and such?
Yes. Although I am opposed to the death penalty.

What sort of nonsense is he spouting?

>They use the word knacker in The young Offenders
>the K is actually silent
I have been living a lie all this time

I'm pretty sure we told you this before.

/éire/ - my friends are here

>What sort of nonsense is he spouting
>Pope Francis is one of the most conservative popes in decades and just has a good PR team, he speaks about the devil being a human more than past popes, is violent saying in his book he would punch anyone that would insult him, they should spend the money they are raising for his visit on paying back people who were raped
Some highlights. Overall just trying to be really edgy, went on about how most Catholics are black and such now as well. He is the head Athiest Ireland.
>but the second time no
Just to state that I don't like the idea of people suffering in silence. It probably doesn't matter because it only happened twice, and you said it the first time, but I would hate the idea of people experiencing assault, bullying and whatever else repeatedly and not calling out for help.
Hope that makes sense, not suggesting you should've done anything different, you know the scenario better and there probably wasn't anything that could've been done.

>image
Eww.

>It's where most my friends lived
>So while I didn't technically grow up there, it is where I spent a lot of my youth
I had the same experience with my secondary. I don't like associating with my village anyways but by the end of Leaving Cert I was on good terms with a lot of people from the area while I knew maybe one lad from my village and that's because he went to the same secondary.

>kuh-nacker
I have wondered before how many of the words and names we say here do you know how to pronounce. It would likely be a strange experience if we ever spoke.

>Pope Francis is one of the most conservative popes in decades
What the fuck am I reading? Decades is a bad measure of time to use for popes as well considering we've only had 3 popes in the last 40 years.
>the devil being a human
I've met atheists that try to push this though.

>I don't like the idea of people suffering in silence
>people experiencing assault, bullying and whatever else repeatedly and not calling out for help
Contacting parents/teachers is almost always a God-awful idea. Granted though being assaulted is far more serious but as he's said the Gardaí were reluctant to act so all it would do is needlessly worry his parents and make them less likely to trust him going out alone socializing without fear he'll be attacked again.

Pretty sure that you have not
I'm not the type to forget such crucial information

>I have wondered before how many of the words and names we say here do you know how to pronounce.
Took me a while to realise that "Chulain" is not pronounced with a tshu sound at the beginning
I usually look up the pronounciation of the Irish words thrown around here, but not so much names and Irish dialect
>kuh-nacker
No "uh" sound, just a quick k-n switch like you might find it in German

>all it would do is needlessly worry his parents
Sure, but if it became a regular and recurring thing then action would definitely be needed. As I said, the fact it only happened twice means it isn't as applicable.

>went on about how most Catholics are black and such now as well
How did he manage to make that relevant?

>It probably doesn't matter because it only happened twice
Yeah, I know lads who got it much much worse than myself.

>so all it would do is needlessly worry his parents and make them less likely to trust him going out alone socializing without fear he'll be attacked again.
Bingo.

...

>How did he manage to make that relevant
Can't remember and don't want to. Probably an insult at how it holds no power in the northern hemisphere anymore.
Also went on about how it isn't a state, and it state when it suits it and a religion other times, benefits from diplomatic immunity and is actually just a park with a few building in the middle of Rome.

Thicc.

>I know lads who got it much much worse than myself
I'm either very innocent or live in a much safer area than I thought. The only lads I was aware of that got assaulted were those that hung around in rough crowds to begin with or were unlucky enough to be caught out late in town by some random scumbag.

Why were you attacked anyway? Did they rob you or are there actually people that assault strangers for no reason in broad daylight?

>are there actually people that assault strangers for no reason in broad daylight
They're knackers, of course desu.

>or are there actually people that assault strangers for no reason in broad daylight?
Yes, knackers.

>ocht

Characters with a blood fetish seem to be all the rage these days. Advise that you all invest now.
Oíche.

Thicc, nice trips, and that right (our left) horn appears rounded though I'm sure it's just the angle.

That's not a great image. Appropriate digits though.

>Advise that you all invest now
Don't worry, I've already invested plenty in Black Dracula.
