Because Sup Forums is full of babyfig plebs.

For some reason all that this image really does for me is highlights just how Jewish the United States of America is. It's their faces I guess.

So apparently there are 8.3 million Jewish people living in the US, and to put that into perspective, only 2.75 million people fought in your civil war as whole. That's insane to me.

It's discussed a little bit, I make some threads but they are never successful. It's a wonderful show. I think my only complaint is that it's a tad sentimental sometimes going for the easy "endearing moments" for characters but sometimes they are really good, like the episode "Beginning of the End". And it's also absolutely fucking hilarious. Also, Hank is a humongous prick. I find myself getting so upset by how much of a hateful person he is.

Larry > Artie > Hank

Rip Torn isn't fucking Jewish

Because it's not capeshit or black on white cuck porn.

Probably the best TV show I've ever seen. Although it's really fucking dark. But still, best show I've ever seen.

Arless was better.

>Although it's really fucking dark.
I'd go as far to say Seinfeld was a bit darker, because unlike Seinfeld Larry Sanders Show had quite a few "heartfelt " moments like when Larry stands up to Michael Bolton for Beverly (thinking he knocked her up)
>That haircut is gay.

Arli$$, Oz and Larry Sanders were all fucking kino. I think Larry Sanders was the strongest from beginning to end tho.

I watched 4 seasons of it and I don't get it, it's never haha funny nor is it particularly clever or endearing. I assume it was ahead of its time but other shows reused its innovations and did it better. I don't get Seinfeld either. I enjoyed sports night, much more endearing behind the scenes TV sitcom. I also enjoyed action, an old fox comedy about a completely corrupt Hollywood which was more overtly cynical and satirical. And of course 30 rock which is excellent. I'm guessing they wouldn't have existed without sanders but I find them much better.

Haha, why do you think Seinfeld was darker? Because of the ridiculous end of the series?

Seinfeld is a fine show. I have no qualms with it. But I don't think it lives up to it's hype.

>why do you think Seinfeld was darker?
Not because of the end (although the end does a great job of putting in perspective how many lives they ruined with their selfishness and apathy), but because we barely got a sense that the characters really "cared" about each other. They kind of just put up with each other and use each other for their own ends. In The Larry Sanders Show, you have many scenes where Larry and Artie and Hank break down and reveal to each other that, yes, they may have to work with each other, but they love each other too. It's a show about friendship and loyalty.

Watch it over and over until you "get it" you humongous pleb. 30 Rock is gay.

I can see that. I always thought the emotionally detached vibe of Seinfeld was there for comedy and it never really effected me but I understand what you're talking about.

I think Larry Sanders is dark because it's super redpilled. Watching how the entertainment business crushes these people and fucks them up is super dark to me. Artie is the greatest character in television history tho. Rip Torn was so fucking electric on that show.

Because it's not GOT or any other soap opera garbage.

I'm a humor expert and that show is not very funny. That's why you have no one to talk about it with.

You are right about Larry Sanders being "dark" in that it shows the ugly side of the business and the backstabbing from the network. Colin Hay's performance of "I Can't Take This Town" in the episode where Larry and Artie are screwed left right and center by some sleazy executives is absolutely chilling to me. ANd yes, Rip Torn is magnificent. Artie is such a lovable character, and it's sad knowing there aren't many gravel chewing producers like him left. They're all either dead or in forced exile.

Yeah definitely, the last season was so powerful and emotional. Especially if you followed it all the way. So fucking dark.

This episode literally had an episode about how Jews run show business. It was hilarious, but fucking dark. I mean... imagine that shit today.

Hey, now!

The episode where Hank becomes obsessed with showing off that he's Jewish and starts wearing his Jew hat on the show is one of my favorites.
>Hank you told me last month you didn't want to do the PTA sketch because it made you look "too Jewish"!
And that ungodly closeup of his face during the tapings to hide his yamulke. Fucking kills me.

>when he is about to eulogize his dead father on the show and says "Hey now" at the start

The meeting they have with the Jewish executives where Hank calls the head Jewish exec an Uncle Tom... fucking hysterical.

10/10 show, one of my favorite comedies of all time.

been watching alot of old Johnny Carson shows on youtube lately and it's crazy how much Ed McMahon reminds me of Hank. especially his back and forth banter with Johnny.

The whole show was an inspiration of the tension between an aging Johnny and the up and coming Arsenio Hall show, right?

>APPLESAUCE

Warren Zevon's sped up "French Inhaler" was brilliant.
