Ok Sup Forums. I have seen some threads floating around about making your own country. This seems unrealistic. Now making a city. That is within the realm of possibility. There have been cities made (see poundbury) in modern times. Now we know that undesirables will try to come. But there are ways around this. We need a place and people and since there are many american posters, we can do this.
I was thinking we could build it in texas. There is a lot of empty land.
Wyatt Evans
Looks comfy

You would require people with skills.
You are survivalists.
People with skills do not trust you, because you are violent and irrational. You can only attract people without skills and education, because people with skills and educations view you as emotionally-stunted, unreliable children.
Camden Adams
I would use the game ''cities skyline'' and build the city with all of your suggestions but im too lazy and the epic bread wont happen.
Brayden Ortiz
Fuck off negative nancy. It takes a special kind of young autist to care about modern politics. These kind of overly analytical people know all kinds of practical shit.
Hunter Parker
With enough funding, we could get firms to bring businesses to our city. Cheap land and low taxes are good motivators for some people.
Joseph Robinson
The town square will have a noose and chair, where every day we sacrifice a NEET who doesn't do anything, watches anime 24/7
Isaiah Brown
>G--guys youre just brutes....im not like you!!!
Kill yourself faggot, you sound like the leftists when they say they are in the right side of history
Angel Cox
>I want to abandon my friends >I want to abandon my family >I want to abandon my job >I want to abandon my country >We could start over and do it better without the influence of the people who have come before >Let's build our own place together on our mutual trust >Because surely we few-hundred are more-skilled than the rest of combined-humanity
It's not negativity. Your irrationality and paranoia is terrifying to people who are good, loyal, rational and skilled.
Noah Myers
Its for those that are unsatisfied with where they are and desire to move up and create a place for themselves. If you are satisfied, you wouldn't want to move. But city design could use many persectives.
Aiden Jenkins
"History" is just "what happened." I am on the right side of it. Everyone who tries to move forward from today is on the right side of it. Everyone who says "well let's set the clock back" is irrational and stupid. A) You can't. B) We learned things.
Kayden Ross
Right? Go get a buncha people who didn't develop their own skills well-enough to be satisfied with themselves, and build a new society. I think you just wrote ISIS's next commercial.
Jacob Hughes
I often thought about this, first I would make a rule, kid from 0-7 stay with their family, 7-16 goes to school somewhere in the outskirts of town, something like educational village where all progresive professor fucktards are, then from 16-20 they go to collage, same drift basically, from 20 to 70 they can live in my city, work, breed, have fun, and all those other crap that normal people should do, after 70 they are sent to some sort of spa again near the city, that way we can eliminate assholes from 7-20 and 70+ that always fuck things up, I think it would be a good start
Sebastian Reyes
people often make wrong descions that must be corrected. New information appears and we must adapt.
Samuel Myers
So adapt. You're talking about "starting over." It's a petulant child's attempt to build a new hill 'cuz someone else already got to the top of the one down the block. It's the logic of "I'm taking my ball and going home."
It's irrational. It's thoughtless.
Luke Foster
Young college students wanting jobs? Entrepreneurs can provide them. We can provide a place. And establish a city.
Josiah Morales
There is precedent though. A Bad design is a bad design.
Thomas Wright
This is where your plan falls apart. Sup Forums can agree (mostly) on social and foreign policy, but have a vast spectrum on economic policy.
Josiah Taylor
Poundry is the most retarded planned town ever. No doubt it had to come from that wanker Prince Charles.
The idiots literally built a town from scratch with narrow streets, parking space shortage and tiny dwelling because they have an idealogical hatred for suburbs. I would like the Royal family to be forced to live in a terraced house with no parking space and no utility room for once. Even when a little bit of spare land earmarked for a housing development which this country severely lacks, the royals step in and say "lol no, living space is not for plebs! Build this shit like a medieval village and let them take the bus lmao".
Jordan Reed
Yeah man: there's like 40 ghost-towns in China devoted to the idea. Hey guess what? Your super-special selection process of "people dumb enough to trust me to be in charge, because no one except some kids on image board were willing to?" Totally seems like a group of worthwhile individuals. Would you explain to me why the Jewish conspiracy stopped you from reaching that manager's position at Pizza Hut? I wanna be "red-pilled."
David Harris
I don't think they force people to live there.
Jack Ward
NIGGA theres a haunted village thats on sale for like, 1 million dollars. Just buy the fucking town and have Sup Forums people live there and have farms and shit, a secluded white christian community.
Benjamin Flores
>just have a bunch of NEETs raise 1 million dollars
Logan White
That is because there is no demands for jobs so the office space is going to waste. The chinese are using their money to build building in order to put their people to work and hope that people would occupy the buildings.
Ryan Jackson
Leave out anything that has to do with liberalism and homosexuality, and everything will fall nicely into place
Liam Rogers
Wow. Thanks for that economics lesson a la Kevin Costner movies. That's deep, bruh.
Daniel Thomas
Seriously. Puondbuy is only 2500 in population. I think that there are about 5000 replies on Sup Forums alone in any hour. I think that for each poster, there are about 10 lurkers. We could easily get the numbers to build and populate a city.
Jayden Jackson
I apologize. The reference is lost on me. I looked him up. I see the movies that he was in and I have not seen any of them. Also he seems to play baseball and play country music.
Angel Foster
>we'd have NEETs in our glorious town desu if Sup Forums actually got together for this, pretty sure the lazy fat asses wouldn't be accepted into the society
Blake Flores
>letting lazy fat asses in our glorious town
Henry Reyes
Import Chinese and Muslim migrants
Jonathan Harris
You don't know "If you build it, they will come?"
WOULD YOU PLEASE TAKE YOUR PROXY OFF OF AMERICA KTHNXBAI
Anthony Rodriguez
Enjoy your population of about 2 people having to raise 500,000 dollars each lads.
Logan Torres
Why post twice?
Dominic Bennett
They force it by imposing legal barriers to more desirable alternatives.
The government would have never granted permission for a developer to build a suburban community with driveways, space and detached homes. But you can bet your right arm how this disgusting mess was fast tracked by town planners because it was conceived (and the land owned) by the royal family.
Parker Ross
Ok. That sounds reasonable. We could do the same but through providing financial incentives for the normal people once we are established.
Jaxon Campbell
Rome wasn't built in a day.
Isaac Lewis
I posted once and it said "aborted" so i posted another and now I feel more autistic than I already am
Hudson Allen
Its ok. Now on to design. Dont be afraid to critize and offer better alternatives. We should no property tax amd a 5% sales tax. We may put on a penny tax to fund most of our propeties. I personnaly prefer one way streets in neighborhoods and a trolly in the main street. This isn't in a specific order, its more to get a on topic conversation started.
Camden Reyes
>Try to make a thread about laws, politics, and city design >gets passed up for shitppsing threads >have to shamefully bump my own thread
Wyatt Lopez
Nigga Texas is hot as fuck, it should be somewhere that doesn't exceed 20 degrees in summer.
Adrian Clark
>20 degrees >Celsius
Bitch, we are going by Freedom Units
Jordan Young
I'm trying to learn fahrenheit because it's a glorious Anglo measurement and Canada uses the British Imperial system for everything else anyway but celsius is what I know off the top of my head.
Levi Ward
Kinda my thoughts.
Have a central government building that the main road into the town leads to. Along the way in (the green section) is where shops and services are located. As you approach the city center (blue) you come towards government buildings such as court houses, police departments, fire houses, ect. Behind the central building is the (orange) residential area.
The central building should be a impressive structure dominating the town and be beautifully decorated. It should be the spiritual heart of the populous hosting Christmas festivals, town meetings, various feasts, and all parades should travel either the residential or market roads to end at the building. This should help bond the community together and provide a focal point that the populace can anchor themselves too.
I am no city designer so I don't know the exactly what should be placed where, but the idea of a central town hall should be high up on the list if not the idea of the different sections.
Colton Smith
>building stuff is bad >don't build anything because it scares me
Kevin Campbell
I know. But it is a great place and very right winged.
My thought was that people should live near where they work, and get food and services. they should also have a quick way to get around town. there will be other roads but this would be the general, poorly made design.
Austin Clark
First stop calling it a trolley that's a stupid name and nobody calls it that except maybe little kids, it's a streetcar
Jace Kelly
Yes, we should follow the Dubai model. We can have immigrants travel for miles on foot, spending their life savings to get there. When they arrive, we charge them for housing and pay the absolute minimum so that they can never afford to leave.
Joshua Cox
California has awful land laws. we want to attract people, not drive them away.
Xavier Cox
You're looking for 69 (kek) degrees in freedom unts.
Elijah Baker
That sounds terrible. Hopefully they wouldn't want to leave.
