You can't get a house like that for $523,000 in Vancouver or Toronto, not even the suburbs.

Seems like a good deal. Built to last unlike our $500000 matchstick houses.

Vancouver's real estate market is about to burst anyway
Toronto will happen pretty soon

They're too socialized with all this affordable house care and other stupid social programs and their minimum wage is too fucking high.

They don't even take in the fact of overpopulation.

These are the reasons why Europe will never compete with Russia, USA or China

Its very upscale, notice the entrance to the cuck shed is in FRONT of the house, for easier access

shit that's pretty cheap man, over here that would be like 1.2 mill

>not getting delinquent tax data from your province/county/etc
>not using this to seek out desperate property sellers
>not buying at ridiculously low prices
>not razing out of date houses and building your own from the ground up

shig to the dig

...

The price of literally everything is way higher here than it is in the states or Canada for that matter. I should know, being a leaf that lives here now.

That's not to say a lot of minimum wage jobs are a living wage. A majority of minimum wage workers are on either 0 hour contracts or roughly 20 hours a week.

why in the serious fuck is vancouver so fucking expensive? Isn't it like -20 deg there in the winter?

Vancouver's real estate prices have actually fallen by 300,000 last month alone before the foreign real estate tax
Victoria is probably gonna get fucked though

my house is double the size of that and it has a large additional extension at the back while maintaining a very large garden. all for 200K max.

fuck off leaf.

>American education

No. Vancouver is basically the warmest major city in Canada with a climate VERY similar to Seattle. This plays a role in attracting insanely rich chinks who buy all the land to move there and build their dumb chink houses in ever area which rives up the real estate prices everywhere

every* drives* wew shitty grammar m8

I don't understand how an entire country can undergo a housing crisis. Shouldn't the law of supply and demand kick in with the construction sector undergoing a major boom to alleviate the disparity?

>A Canadian making fun of a real estate market

yeah but seattle is a fucking climate clusterfuck

So in Vancouver, except it's only a quarter as bad as the rest of Canada

Seattle is still warmer than all the major Canadian cities. Think about it

>Vancouver: colder version of Seattle
>Calgary/Edmonton: colder version of Minneapolis
>Toronto: colder version of Detroit
>Montreal: colder version of Buffalo

We have on in Australia as well. Construction of housing and apartments HAS been booming and look at how much free space we have.

It is exacerbated by the government not laying down infrastructure at the edges of the metro areas, distance to amenities etc. and of course immigration exploding because the govt wants to pay for all the pensions.

In Cuckifornia, Ameriburgers will pay $2,000,000 for this

well lads how do we solve it?
build more houses?
remove darkie?
pump gas into lidl?

What about this one?
I'm moving to Toronto soon.

>523,000 USD
In San Francisco, a house on a lot that large would go for about $1.0 to $1.5 Million.
