Aside from the memes this scene never really made sense to me. When Dale looks at the surveillance camera and walks away for the first and second time it seems to all display in real time, that is, when Dale looks at the TV screen the corridor is empty. But when he does it the third time, when Philip Jeffries is approaching, it seems like Dale is stuck on the camera. What the fuck happens there? Is there some sort of a delay all of a sudden or is it just a production error that an autist would care about?
