was he the one that killed the jew?

FUCK HITLER

neither did he.

>spares Upham's life because he's a huge pussy
>Upham murders him later on after 'finding' his balls

I always saw that as an analogy to how americans lets the nazis kill jews until there was overwhelming evidence that the nazi were bad. It felt really hamfisted.

Knife to the hear scene was still brutal though

Do you guys think the movie is biased because the director is a jew?

Does that take away from the overall message of the film?

lost the war

forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=47252

no, they were different guys.

>Socialist
He deserved to have his useless cock chopped off and fed to him.

Interesting analogy.
Yeah the knife scene is hard to watch and I always feel utter disgust and contempt for Upham every time it plays.
Good acting I guess.

I didn't get that. The Germans were just dudes fighting same as the Americans. There's no scene where the Germans like shoot puppies or something comical.

The knife scene is a different soldier. And while Steam Boat Willy is later seen firing at the Americans, its not like he had any way of knowing it was the same Americans who just spared his life, and its not like he's going to refuse to fight when he's picked up and ordered to by a commanding officer.

The Jews have a lot of bias WW2 movies, I don't really feel this is one of them.

That actually makes sense. Kikeberg said the "girl in the red dress" in scheindler's list represents the fact that all the allies knew about the holocaust but didn't bomb the rail lines or try to stop it

yes, they were the same guy.

No they aren't the knife guy is Waffen SS, Steam Boat Willy (the soldier they spare) is Wehrmacht.
Both just have shaved heads.

sproe.com/s/steamboat-comparison.html

Why did Spielberg make the German soldiers have shaved heads when that was actually what the Russians did? Was it to draw a comparison to modern day skinheads?

Lol. Imagine the shit that old dude has seen. The German vets of ww2 deserved a lot more respect than to be demonized.

Possibly, but Germans on the Eastern front sometimes had shaved heads.
Also I think a lot of the German extras were German soldiers (I might be wrong about that)

why were nazi's such surrender cucks, fellow kekistani bros?

Different people you retard.

Ya we've established that. Thanks

I have jew in my blood but I honestly think the world would be a better place in science and standard of living had they won.

the real b8 here is insinuating there are kekistani faggots here (though you're probably not wrong desu)

>the nazis where more advanced meme

National Socialism is a doctrine of peace

Depends on how you look at it. If he had just killed my buddy, he's done something wrong.

>fight multi-front war against 3 huge superpowers, each multiple times larger than you all, on your own
>still do pretty good for the first few years and last much longer than any expected you to last

they fought against several industrial nations that are bigger than Germany in several places and they could resist 6 years

Look how the Americans lost against some rice farmers in Vietnam and North Korea

Also let's remember that the winter did more than the Soviets did.
Aside from wasting German ammo, I guess.

And illiterate goat herders in Afghanistan, or how Russia lost against eskimos with outdated rifles in Finland

it was pretty clear that the Russians were not ready for the war. They had to build up their industry and they had no good generals (Stalin killed them)

so zerg rush was their only option

Russia sucks balls at war. The last war they outright won in the past 200 years was WW2 and that was because of the weather, not any Russian tactics.

>ww2 german soldier
>buzz cut
evritim

that might be true for the winter of '41 and stopping the push to moscow, but from then on the russian army was beating the german army fair and square
