You know they won't. If they weren't bothered keeping Godzilla's original iconic roar, why settle for that weird, high-pitch warbling sound? It's all but confirmed we won't have any original roars. The question we should be asking is what approach they'll take instead.

However, at twenty-three seconds in, there is a roar that sounds purely like "Gyooon"from start to finish and the early Hesei roars can definitely be considered "gyooon"s as well.

The original film was a metaphor for nuclear weapons. I would argue for shin they tried to bring Godzilla back to the metaphorical roots. I.E. Godzilla in this films represents the ever-changing threats we face in the modern world.
