Even if it's not great, it's still his most competent movie and the beat directed one.

Yeah but 300 looks like what happens when two twenty somethings who just took a class in ancient Greek literature make a Quake mod. I have yet to see another film like this done in earnest.

This right here. Watchmen was easily his best, and it's still an embarrassment compared to the source material. Also the guy he cast as Rorschach helped carry it.
